Hello everyone. I am just wondering if there's anyone with the similar situation. I am a USC and peitioned my mother last December 2014. Her employment auto has been approved however, she received this letter last April regarding a NOTICE OF POTENTIAL INTERVIEW WAIVER and to anticipate a 6 month delay from the production date of the letter (April).

I would like to know if this is normal OR is anyone here having the same issue. I've read many info online and it is a bit confusing now as some are waiting for over a year now while some have progressed. We are located in Los Angeles and have no idea which office the application went to (although a MSC receipt is provided. not sure if it tells the office location).

i would appreciate any information.

Potential interview waiver

you a USCitizen

and

Mom is chasing an adjustment of status, whilst in the USA?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

It is normal And it seems to take a year or so.

my case isnt not complete yet...and thats my problem. we filed the application december 2014 and until now its still open and pending due to the 6 month delay letter that we received last april. letter says delay it has nothing to do with the application, but instead the wokload.

I am asking if youre case is already complete in nvc processing.. And will it really take that long for the interview date to be scheduled after it was case complete?

she is adjusting status in the US, not at the NVC

stage
