Hello Everbody, I got a Checklist(CL) recently for some minor mistakes in my i864. I have to fill it again and send it to NVC.I am having a Joint Sponsor.

But here is the dilemma, I put AGI(adjusted gross income) on first i 864 form but did not get checklist for that .....My sponsor filed Form 1040 (not 1040EZ)

1.So what should I do now??? just correct the mistakes CL pointed out or should I correct it the rest(go for Total(gross)income rather than AGI)....

2. My sponsors employment letter does not show his income, and neither do I have w-2 forms nor the pay stubs of my sponsor right now (I though have 1040 form and related schedules) so what should I write in Part 6 Item 5 ''MY CURRENT INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL INCOME''? AGI OR TOTAL INCOME (previously I wrote AGI as MY CURRENT INDIVIDUAL ANNUAL INCOME)

3.Last Q, If I got CL for i 864,does it mean that rest of my documents are ok?

What did you & sponsor submit for tax proof? Transcripts are best.

Yeah I know. But Right now I am filling i864 again and its PART 6 is getting crazy, and its instructions are also not clear :ranting:

I am confused now, What if I only correct the mistakes NVC told me to do so, and after 1 month they send me a new Checklist asking ''you must write your total(gross)income''...........

What should I do now about it..

Okay sometimes total income and adjusted gross income are the same, so you have to pay attention. If they're different then absolutely, correct the mistake.

Also yearly income is how much someone SHOULD make THIS year. (2015.) You cannot get this number off someone's taxes. You need to know how much they make at their job. $$/hour x Hours per week x 52 weeks per year = yearly income. You do the multiplication based on income before taxes.

No idea. If you weren't missing anything why wouldn't they be? The NVC doesnt approve anything.

Normally you correct only what they tell you but in this instance, if you notice something, yes you can correct it.

Btw writing all in bold and different colours makes your post harder to read, not easier.
