Hi there:

unfortunately there's not alternative, start working on getting what they requested, the sooner the better, once you summit the docs its up to them the processing time.

hope you finish soon

good luck!! :-)

It doesn't take long time to fet visa once you submit paperwork to vfs center. Last couple of months consulates had technical problems so they could not issue visas. Once paperwork submitted, I would say 2 weeks.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

When was the interview? Don't go by what status would say as it takes time to update nvc was closed for 4 days and they were trying to fix technical problems. Your case is in AP for documents not for fraud checks, so once you submit paperworks then should not take as much time. Ceac status will change ready to administrative processing then when they are ready to issue visa it will change multiple times. UStraveldocs and ceac are two different agency.

What kind of certificate and affidavit were they asking?

Sadly there's no specific timeframe for 221g, expect a delay of atleast 2 weeks or more after submission.

Me and my family had immigrant visa interview on Nov 10 2015 at Montreal. Officer ask to submit I-864A form and issue us 221g white paper. I sent that document on Nov 18 2015 via Loomis Courier and they received on Nov 19 2015. When I check Visa Status on CEAC, it says " Administrative Processing ".

What this means.
