Hey everyone, I got my biometrics done today. Local office in St. Louis. We were on the road at 6 a.m. and it took us 3,5 hours to get there, so we were 30 min later but nobody said anything, just ask if I have an appointment. Besides me there were a few people maybe 11 or 10. I was in and out in 20 min and drove back home another 3,5 hours. After this ....sleep sleep sleep ....

We had an InfoPass appointment on August 11th asking to expedite S' advance parole. August 12th we received the notification that the employment authorization was approved... still no update online (not that I expect one, ha) for the advance parole but I am assuming that they have approved both and will be sending a combo card shortly.

Does it mean that after October the 6th, USCIS will require us to send new affidavit or even if we sent 13 edition, we're still good to go?

Hi all,

I just got my RFE mail now and so pissed off.

They are requesting for another joint sponsor that the one i submitted didn't meet up cos of his household size.

I didn't just get what d crazy officer wanted cos my sponsor income is $63,420 and his household size is 6 including himself.

Meanwhile the 2015 HHS Poverty Guidelines states that for household of 6, the 125% is $40,712.

Pls can someone help me understand this cos its really getting at me right now and so mad....lolz

Found out our AP was approved yesterday with our EAD. Yay for progress! USCIS accepted our case on June 28th, and even though we expedited, the IO told us that we really only expedited it by a couple of weeks. Soon everyone else in this thread will be getting their EAD/APs too!

Great ! Yayyy ! That IO wouldn't even understand how much of a difference that "couple of weeks" makes to us ! lol :clock:

I didn't just get what d crazy officer wanted cos my sponsor income is $63,420 and his household size is 6 including himself.

Meanwhile the 2015 HHS Poverty Guidelines states that for household of 6, the 125% is $40,712.

Pls can someone help me understand this cos its really getting at me right now and so mad....lolz

I would call or make an Infopass appointment for clarification. Find out what they think the household size is, and why they're rejecting it based on that.

So sorry this happened to you.. :/
