Those who undergone the process can you share with us the time limit? I know most of us here has different issues which the consular might have recommended to USCIS to review.

10th August will be 6 months our case got stuck in AP, am kind of nervous that we wont get any response before then... How long was your case been in AP till you were given the NOIR or NOID or RETURNED TO EMBASSY ?

Please brothers and sisters comment....

Ebunoluwa My wife filed for her divorce decree in the country Mexico. She obtained her legal divorce decree from the Mexican court in March 2013. And she visited me in May 2013 and we got married in June 2013. She lived with me in Ghana for 46 days. The divorce decree was submitted to USCIS they approved our case. The CO made it clear to me that my wife has to divorce her ex husband and remarry me. Because they the embassy are considering her to be married to two people now. That the Mexican laws do not allow such divorce decree. My wife quickly contacted the attorney who handled her case and they provided her a document signed by the Mexican Judiciary saying her divorce is legal and can be used in any country.

Jefraylee our trip to the embassy consist of two days, the first was on a Thursday and we sat for four hours and we finally were called to KM window she didn't wanna talk to me she interviewed my husband again for the second time, I sat and could hear her she was trying to turn my husband against me, and she was constantly going and chatting with alma gurski, on his 221g she asked for more chats and phone records, but during that interview she asked for certain chats we had and I told her we didn't have that because that's wasn't what she asked for and I let her know if she had I could have printed exactly that, so she informed us it was closing time and I asked what happens now she said we come back tommorow I said ok I'll be here! And I shoved all the things I printed that she wrote saying she wanted she through her window! so the next day alma gurski interviewed my husband again and then i finally got interviewed so she asked a bunch of irrelevant questions then tried to convince me my husband was probably already married with kids, and i told her that if that were true she would be showing me poof and not telling me what she thinks, she then asked for his passport and i gave it to her and she filled the blue slip out for him to get a visa, but then she asked me do i really want him here and i said yes then she gives me back his passport and says that i wasnt listening to what she was trying to convince me of that she needs to do a further review and i said so now your gonna punish him cause im not going for what your trying to say, she said she didnt have to listen to me or believe the answers i told her that its up to my husband to try and convince her so i said lets go to the private room and get to the bottom of whatever you wanna know, but she said she didnt feel like it so she was putting us in ap

Horrendous, we all have our crazy stories and this isn't the way one should be treated. They have too much power and their actions go

unchecked that is the whole problem. Pisses me off every time I hear this mess.

Hey fellow Ghanaian wives and husbands, Im still waiting to hear from the embassy. I was thinking if all these cases are sent back to the USCIS from Ghana. Shouldn't raise a red flag. Im just wondering if they have a quota they have to meet. I wish this process was not so hard. I miss my husband and its not feasible to travel three times a year to see him. People waiting for their husband and wife to be with them. I talked to my husband today his just cried because he missed and he wasn't feeling well. It hurt not being there. Most of us had more than enough evidence they just know that they are not gonna let so many into this country. Im really thinking about moving there maybe I can find work. This is not an easy road for us. One of my girlfriends husband has been in AP since Sept of last year and the case is still at the embassy. This country must get a forgiving heart.

I have a question. 1. For those you submitted the disclosure paperwork to your senators/reps, have you heard anything following submission? 2. How long have you been in AP and have you heard anything since the denial?

No need to take that kind of drastic step of moving to Ghana. Your husband is delayed not denied. Moving to Ghana is something that should be planned for years with adequate money saved and either a career secured or business started before you move. Taking this kinda step will cause friction between you and your husband in the future. Just be patient. Keep doing everything you can. It won't be long.
