Yet another thread where commenting on actual actions by actual bigots in Israel gets interpreted as "threatening" to an Israeli. In Israel it's "threatening" to point out that throwing feces at people of color on the street is wrong. What an excellent video. Wish I had found that one, I would have posted it months ago.

The shame here is that even after so many years in America and so many "friends of color" some of us can't tell the difference between places where actions like that are defined as assault and hate crimes and prosecuted and places where actions like that are just normal activities by the group in power. There is a difference.

once again, your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking. The point was not whether or not there is racism in Israel and whether or not that is a good thing, the debate was about is it more common or frequent in Israel than other countries, which I showed that it was not. Sucks for you, maybe you should find new people to hate on you might have better luck.

The error many make is in assuming Israel is our friend. Nations don't have friends, they have allies. Israel is at once a military ally and a political foe. We pay them handsomely for parking in & out privileges and provide them with protection they would not otherwise be able to afford on their own. In return, politically, they loathe us with the abandon one can only entertain for one's benefactor.

It's not personal. It's only politics.
