my case was approved on 2013 and my documents sent to the NVC ... soon my mom become a citizien of USA so how can i conevert my process to IR and how long it takes .. my Priority Date is 2011DEC11. :protest:

Your mother can upgrade the petition she filed for you from F2A to IR by contacting the NVC and sending a copy of her naturalisation certificate after she becomes a US citizen. It will take the NVC around 60 days to process this change.

Your post said F2B. If petitioner naturalized, your case will be converted to F1. Sons and daughters 21 years old and above are NOT considered immediate relatives (IR).

F2b are not immediate relatives. If your mother naturalizes you'll convert to F1 which is currently a year's wait longer than F2b which is anywhere from 6 - 9 years wait.

Nice point phoenyxx.

Currently F2B priority date is moving faster than F1 by one year. Depending on the visa bulletin movement, this may or may not change in the years to come. Just something to keep in mind coz you still have around 3 years of waiting period left in your F2B petition.

Hi everyone! How long will it take to wait after you paid and send all the requirements to nvc? My last filling was September 7,2015 and I'm just waiting for my IL my pd is November 29,2004. Thank you for your time to answer me. I'm from Philippines
