Hello my vj family, so like y'all advised I'm in my husband's country right now and I have gotten married. We got married on July 23rd which was last Thursday. Will be in the states next week. Is there any additional info any member can give to me as in gathering my supporting documents and stuff like that. I do remember Ebunoluwa advised I take as many pictures as possible any suggestions and advised will be much apprecisted . thanks to you all, u guys rock.

Here is the guide for the CR1, read through it and see what you are lacking, make sure he signs the g325a and bring it with you among

some other items listed in the link.

Photos of the wedding with family. All and every receipt you have accumulated of your stay. A few affidavits from his family (parents, siblings)

attesting to you as a genuine couple, sharing your happiness and being supportive of the marriage.

At the NVC stage 'side load' ongoing communication after you have front loaded to USCIS.

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Hi Ebunoluwa what do you mean by side load my application at the nvc level? And what is the removal of condition time? Do you have any idea of what tbzt means?

When you file the next petition you front load. Once the petition is approved you are required to send more documents at the NVC stage and then you can side load, meaning you send in all the relationship evidence you accumulated while the petition is processing (another trip, chats, phone logs etc.).

No, I don't know what tbzt means, in what context ?

Since I don't live in same country with my husband we don't have anything together. We tried to open an account together but we couldn't do it because Im not from there anymore. I do have an apartment do you think I can make him a signatory and owner as well. I mean I acquired that property when I was single.or can he had me to his Rent lease now that we are married? is it not too late since the least was sign 2 yrs ago. He was thinking of re doing it?

Yes you can but if you don't live with him then it is understandable that you aren't on the lease.

Life insurance ( small policy for $20 or so) with him as the beneficiary helps and vice versa.

Adding him to property or land you or he owns depends on the requirements but it works for the most part.

A will is strong evidence too.

Thx guys for your help I really appreciate y'all. I got back to the States and I'm looking forward to filing the CR-1 for my husband, there's actually a new development in my situation. I actually found out just last week that i was pregnant. Another thing is I am a full time nursing student now hence I only work part time now. The issue at stake right now is that, i do have an option of applying for my school's health insurance ( that was the initial plan) but then again since I'm pregnant now I have been advised by a lot of people to apply for Medicaid since the student insurance is not gonna give me 100% coverage. The question now is that, will Medicaid affect my chances if I do file for my husband? And again is there a way I can expedite my application due to the fact that I'm now pregnant? Pls guys ur advises will help a lot. Looking forward to hearing from you wonderful peeps, thx.

I do not know which would be better, Medicaid or the School Plan but it is not relevant to the Immigration issue.

What do you have now?

Pregnancy has no effect on Immigration. Not a reason to expedite.

@Boiler, thx. I'm yet to decide. I mean I guess it makes senses to go on the Medicaid route since my student insurance wouldn't give me a 100 % coverage. I'm relieved now since Medicaid wouldn't affact my husband's CR-1. Thx Boiler, u r awesome!

You know that you will need a co sponsor? You will be filling out the I 864. You probably have some one lined up but just thought I would mention it.
