I will join this thread. The Islamabad embassy seems to be more streamlined than the Kabul embassy and we are just getting so bothered about waiting this long. No packet 3 or 4. Only half of our emails get responses. The wait at the embassy has been the longest part for us. We need encouragement too!

This is great idea. I don't know which visa you're applying for but I can share my fiancé experience for his K1 interview. He had his interview March 25.

Some questions they asked

Who is calling you to the U.S.?

What is your relationship to her?

When was your fiancé born?

Where was she born?

What are her parents names?

What do they do?

Does she have any siblings?

What's his name?

How old is he?

What does he do for a living?

Where did your fiancé go to school?

What did she study in university?

What is her profession now?

Where has she worked previously?

What is her religion?

How does her family feel about you?

How does your family feel about her?

Why do you want to marry an American?

Why didn't you have an arranged marriage?

Why don't you want to get married in Pakistan?

Then he asked for more documents regarding the financial support. My fiancé had already sent them with the Packet 3 but the officer acted like he didn't have it. So my fiancé gave him the copies that he brought with him.

It seemed like they asked a lot of questions. I saw some people say they only got asked maybe 2-3 questions and it was done. The officer said everything looks fine but we are in administrative processing with no progress so far. No idea what is happening or what to expect next.

Thank you for sharing those list of questions. They will help us when we find out about our interview. Hopefully you get your visa soon! I hate AP!!!!!

For the first question he said because he loves me and his parents are open minded and let him choose who to marry. About the not getting married in Pakistan it's because we want to let my family be at the wedding and we have a plan to do another reception in Pakistan later so he just explained that.

Most of the embassy don't allow hand bags but u should take both hand bag and shopper also in case if they willn't allow hand bag don't worry they will take ur hand bag and keep it in their custody and will give u a tokken so that at return u can take them...just remember to keep the tokken safe.

I think your guess is right. I think the officers would question a difference in race very high to Pakistani filers. The officers in Morocco or Philippines are more used to seeing interracial couples and the social norms against interracial marriages are not as extreme. They would probably be more suspicious of your Pakistani fiance trying just to find any American to court.

I'm not saying that your relationship isn't legitimate or anything negative about your engagement. I'm not saying you guys did anything wrong, but that's probably the AP reason - they are probably suspicious of his intentions. If you were there at the interview with him, I'm sure that would have helped, though. Hopefully you guys are able to visit each other again real soon and you guys have lots of pictures together doing a lot of different and fun things! If you were able to visit him in Pakistan, then any pictures you guys have taken during that trip or any other evidence of relationship can be saved in case they want a second interview with him.
