Hello everyone,

I'm new here, my fiance just got a letter from NVC with our MNL case number on may 19,2015. I was advice with some friends i can use his letter to pay visa fee in BPI. So he scanned it and send it to me as pdf files, however my fiance is doing the I-134 affidavit of support so he want me to wait for him to finish the I-134 and send it to me here in the Philippines before i pay the visa fee in BPI so right now im gathering some requirements we need for the interview.

Right now i'm confused how the get appointment if i have children, i have 2 children coming with me. I believed i need to pay visa fee each of us separately and also fill up D-160 separately.. My question is do we need to register separately and get appointment for interview the same day and same time? or Is it only me the main applicant who need to register to get appointment for interview and when the interview day comes i will just bring my children with me?

Please help..i need advices here..im praying everyday that me and my kids pass all the process. and i will pass the interview coz i feel really nervous about it.

Thanks in advance for all the advices....

in general, you need to pay the visa application fees for the k-1 and two k-2 visas, and register an account at ustraveldocs.com/ph

doing these 2 things gets you on the scheduling calendar, however,

you should get on a PC, get in the PI sub-forum,

turn on 'view signatures' in your profile section,

then find ANY ONE of Hank_ 's posts, as

The Handy-Dandy, Neeto-Keen (Yet Spiffy) Guide to SuperFast K1 Visa Chasing for Manila IV

is listed in each of his posts.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Don't wait to schedule your interview as there is a lot of time before your interview that he will have to complete the 134. It's rock and roll time. Use my link below at the twisting arrow as step by step instructions are there. Also, buddy Hank, like apple said, has a good guide also. He is the Grand PuPa of the K1 process.

Right now i'm confused how the get appointment if i have children, i have 2 children coming with me. I believed i need to pay visa fee each of us separately and also fill up D-160 separately.. My question is do we need to register separately and get appointment for interview the same day and same time? Yes, same day and same time. When you go to fill out your DS-160 it will ask you if there are additional family members and you answer yes. Your family information will be populated to a new page where you can enter in your first child. At the end of entering his/her date the question will be asked again and you say yes and repeat till you have finished with all your children. or Is it only me the main applicant who need to register to get appointment for interview and when the interview day comes i will just bring my children with me? Yes they will attend with you at the interview and will take the oath. It's a very exciting time.

Please help..i need advices here..im praying everyday that me and my kids pass all the process. and i will pass the interview coz i feel really nervous about it.

Thanks in advance for all the advices....

You complete ONE registration for yourself at USTRAVELDOCS, pay the $265 visa fee for each person, they when you schedule your interview at the end of that part it will ask if you want to schedule another this is when you schedule the K2. Yes you bring the children with you to the interview, along with their passports (of course).

All will be find, just follow the guide from myself or Greenbaum.

Embassy Instructions Letter states that 4 hours after payment to BPI you can schedule your interview, but the majority of time it takes 8 - 24 hours before the payment is registered with the embassy. You cannot complete the scheduling till USEM has received the verified information from BPI that you have indeed made your payment.

hello guys..i tried to check again and all our payment has been registered yay! thank you!, now i just got an appointment interview ( feeling happy), however i really want to get sched on month of july but seems july and august are fully book?..coz the only available dates appears are june 24,25,26 and 29, so i really dont have choice, so i choice june 29, its too soon for me lol but im really excited and nervous..

so right now im trying to fill up ds-160, and im confused on these questions..

1. other names: is my married name before is considered as other name? coz' when i was married i used my ex-husband surname..but now since i got annulled

im using my name when i was single..

2. marital status: in this part there are choices, like SINGLE, MARRIED, WIDOW, LEGAL SEPARATED, DIVORCED and OTHER, there is NO ANNULLED in the choices, i believed divorced is different from annulment, however if i choose OTHER there will be box saying EXPLAIN.. so i choose OTHER and i put on explain box " I'm Annulled"...did i do right???

3. WORK/EDUC INFO: well right now i just stay at home, my fiance is financially supporting me..so i chose HOMEMAKER.. is that OK?... BUT on the next questions is about previous work within the last five years and it says if applicable.. is it ok if i will choose "NO" even i had worked in the last five years, i previously worked as a bookkeeper for 3 yrs, but i resigned last may 2014, since then i just stay at home and my fiance is ok about it.....because if i click "YES" there will be more questions about the name of my employer, the address, the phone number, name of supervisor...actually i work in a hospital cooperative, the members of the cooperative are the employees of the hospital,( im under the cooperative not in the hospital)..the cooperative i've worked does not have supervisor and it does not have telephone number too,the officers in the cooperative are using there personal numbers, but u know u can't leave blank on the questions because it will not let you continue....i need advice on this matter please help.. i will appreciated very much..thanksss....

1. When you were married you used your husbands surname so it would be considered "other name" for this document.

2. Annulled and Divorce are the same thing for this document so go ahead and check "divorced". You can also use "other" and indicate you are annulled. Either is fine.

3. You need to be truthful for ALL documents and questions that are asked of you. You fail to be truthful and there is a GREAT possibility you will be denied. Don't take the chance. Nothing here that you enter on the form will get you denied if your truthful with your answers.

Put down your employer's information as best you can. Use your supervisors number or if you can recall, use your cell number. At the interview you can explain IF ASKED. Ok?

There is more information in my signature. Choose the link at the twisting arrow.

re 'other name' -

if you have an ID or license issued in the 'other name' then you must list that other name, otherwise no.

re: hospital co-op - there is a name and telephone number of the human that disburses the monies to each co-op member. use that name/number.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hopefully you brought three deposits slips to BPI and made three separate payments and received three receipts.

As for scheduling your interview it normally takes closer to 24 hours (the embassy states less but rarely is that true) for the payment to show up, and do remember the 12th of June was a Philippines holiday and the embassy is not open for those or on weekends. Wait until Monday.

Then when you actually get to schedule start with YOUR APPOINTMENT, after you complete that one it will ask if you want to schedule another this is when you schedule for each of your children one at a time.
