Ok going to email them and see why they haven't issued the visa yet...just hope they reply.

They usually respond in two days hoping they don't forget like they do your visa. Good luck! keep us posted.

Had our interview Thursday afternoon. By today (Monday afternoon) the visa has been issued and printed! Much quicker than we expected, pleasantly surprised to end this journey on a good note :-)

I would call your embassy I am not sure how it works there. They e-mailed us and gave us specific days/times we could pick it up at the embassy or a phone number for a DHL representative to setup courier.

Please need your input. We have interview coming up. Just wondering how long does it take to get my passport get back after visa issued. My interview is at Mumbai embassy. We are planning to come to US in 2 days after interview. Is it enough time to get my passport back?

Hi!

My husband had his interview last week and was approved. Now I am trying to book him a flight (I am in the US and he is in Tanzania). They are now telling me that Africa has laws that restrict any "third parties" from purchasing the ticket. This means I can not purchase a ticket for him. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I feel so lost because every company is denying my payment.

Use a ticket agent. or like one travel Cheaptickets.com there are alot out there or deal directly with the airlines.

Hi everybody my wife got accepted (case complete) april 8th. She is in Mexico. It has been over a month now and we have not heard any news or received any notices or messages on our interview date. It also does not say "ready" on the CEAC website . My question is, how long does it take for the interview date to be scheduled after being accepted at the nvc? Since she is in Mexico, the embassy probably has a lot of petitioners and maybe thats why it is taking a long time. But on this thread, i am seeing people receiving their interview date after a couple of weeks after "case complete". Does anyone know why it has been over a month and no interview date yet? Please respond !!!!
