To give us an idea of what dates they are working on so we know what to expect.. And it has helped alot of people including me i saw that everybody with my scan dated got reviewed and people with scan

When NVC notified that they recieve the documents. NVC said that they need 30 days for review. Is it really takes 30 days for review the documents?

Only if u are lucky by God's grace, sometimes it even takes longer, just pray.

It took them 20 days to review our case they received my documents on July 27 and sent me a check list by August 18, support and marriage certificate are missing even though I sent them, I started working on new copies . I called in yesterday to make sure that is all is missing "lost" and she told me that she can't update me on the case because someone is working on as i was calling???!!!

Hi,

11 august 2015 DS260 filled electronically

13 august 2015 DS260 filled completed status shown

17 august 2015 send docs(AOS & civil) to NVC

21 august 2014 NVC notified packets recieved

My husband is us citizen and my case category is CR1. Visa consulate is Bombay, india

How many days it taken to nvc complete process? And time delay for schedule interview?

Please help. Anyone please reply to me.

How long NVC will actually take to complete a case is totally random. It could be done in 30 days as they say, or it could take several months.

God forbid you get a check list!

When our case was first reviewed, it was done on the 30th day, but they wanted a new police certificate. Though we had that done and overnight expressed to them within 48 hours, our case was a total of 98 days from scan date to case complete. Now we stagnate as we wait for an interview. We've been waiting 25 days (and still counting) for an interview date.

IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I-130 Sent : 2014-09-06

I-130 NOA1 : 2014-09-08 I-130

I-130 Appr5oved : 2015-02-22

NVC Received : 2015-03-09

Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : 2015-03-20

Pay AOS Bill : 2015-03-28

Send AOS Package : 2015-04-28

Submit DS-261 : 2015-04-25

Receive IV Bill : 2015-04-14

Pay IV Bill : 2015-04-22

Send IV Package : 2015-04-28

Scanned date: 2015-04-28

Check list : 2015-06-07

Check list scanned: 2015-06-10

Sent to Supervisor 49 days after scanned: 2015-07-28

Case Complete 7 days after it went to Supervisor: 2015-08-05

Interview Appointment Letter from NVC: 2015-13-10

Case shows as READY 2015-10-19

Medical done: 2015-16-11

Interview Date: 2015-11-18

APPROVED....GOD IS GREAT!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! :goofy:

Case changed from "Ready" to "AP" on 19th, then to "Issued" on 22nd

Visa was ready for pick up November 3rd in the afternoon

VISA IN HAND! THANK YOU GOD!

You are ten days ahead of me. My scan date is 28th August. Consulate is same as you i.e. Mumbai. I have seen in this forum that some of us got case complete within 20 days of the scan date. Let us hope for the best.

Hope for the same for all those who waiting to meet their spouses. Its really hard to live seperated. Hoping for good news regarding us visa with the prayers

I received a checklist 1 day after the scan date (related to IV/DS260)! Responded to the checklist immediately.

I am wondering what are the chances of receiving another check list (because it is so strange that someone reviewed my IV/AOS package so quickly, did they review the whole thing before sending that checklist? or did they only review the IV package in combination of DS260?)

What is percentage of people receive more than one checklist?

Would hate to receive another checklist :(

Sorry to hear the checklist. I have not heard more than one check list in this forum.

But glad to hear that they reviewed the case 1 day after the scan date. That is amazing development at NVC. Did anyone in this forum had a quick review after the scan date either checklist or case complete? If so will it be dependent on the embassy also?

Scan date was 10-Aug-2015 and got the magical 3rd N/A today. It literally just showed up so I'm going to wait a few hours before calling in case the system needs more updating on the operator's side.

I am the petitioner, he still lives overseas

first held hands February 2011
engaged June 2013
married May 2014
began process January 2015

Most recent update: Interviewed on 05-OCT 2015. Approved and visa in hand!!!
