I am starting to believe that the NVC does not actually exist. Even first thing in the morning, I am getting a constant busy signal. Just a phone question- if I leave it ringing on the busy signal, will it go through if the line becomes available, or do I have to keep compulsively hanging up and redialing? It's been about 6 weeks since the TSC sent our paperwork over and we still haven't heard anything.

You just have to keep hanging up and redailing. I usually called either right when they open or very late in the evening. It usually only took me 2-10 tries to get through. Then wait times were usually 20-45 minutes. Just keep trying!

I have compulsively called at all times of day and have had no luck. (My husband and I live in different countries until we get his visa, so I am pretty passionate about getting this done!)

Do I have the right number? (603)334-0770?

603-334-0700. The best thing is to call 7:30AM (I think that's when the open) and keep re-dialing until you get the ring. I called them many times and that worked for me. Usually got connected after couple of tries or if I called later, I re-dialed constantly for probably 10 minutes, but the hold times were almost an hour.

call them ask for Case No and IIN

then file DS 261 and pay AOS

then after a week, call them and ask to review DS 261 on phone. once they do that, in 3 - 4 working day your IV bill should be invoiced. Pay that ... wait for a week and then keep an eye for DS 260 application to be available. If by a week you dont get DS 260 available call them and ask question.

Once you pay IV bill send the AOS and IV document to NVC

THANK YOU GUYS! I was able to get through, got my case number and IIN. Now I will just choose to rejoice in the fact that we are a little bit closer instead of crying because they sent the letter a month ago and I never received it!
