K1 NOA1 to NOA2 not happening after 8 months!

Hi All,

I am quite worried at this point and am without answers. My NOA1 was in August 25th. 2014. Nothing has happened yet regarding NOA2 but I see a lot of folks, many from mid-September already moving on to a new stage.

1) TSC

2) Wife to be in Colombia

3) K1 and K2 (she has a young child)

4) According to a customer contact associate, my case is in the hands of an officer already. This was almost 4 weeks ago.

Does anyone know what could be happening here? calling the call center is of no further help than looking up the status online. I am beginning to worry. Also, the system doesn't let me create a service inquiry yet saying it is within processing times.

Thank you in advance!

Ask to speak to a Tier 2 person and put in a service request. Also contact your congress(wo)man's office and your two senators' offices and ask for help. A few people on VJ have found Senator Gillibrand's office to be helpful.

As unbelievable as it sounds, we did our first post yesterday (thank you all for your kind replies), just to hear at 9 PM EST from USCIS. We are now approved!!!!!!!!

Thank you folks. It was an intense feeling for sure to get the positive news :)
