We got our NOA2 on April 6th. My question is, How long does it take to get to the NVC? I called the USCIS they said it ships right away usually but can take a month. But they said it usually does not take that long. They said it could take 5 months for the NOA2 but only took 2 so I am hoping it will not be 30days to get to the NVC. It looks like it takes a month to go through the NVC. Another question would be when we hear from the Consulate how long it is till the interview? Good luck everyone on your journey. It our last great struggle for my love and I to be together after 20 years.

You can call NVC to see if they've received your case and get your case number.

11/17/15: I-601/I-212 waivers APPROVED

12/11/15: HUBBY HOME!! :dance:

Hello. Just give it two weeks then call NVC for your case number :)

I believe the above guide is for IR-1/CR-1 so doesn't apply to you since you're chasing a K1 visa. :)

Ours also the same.. from online they say it was sent April 10 to NVC til now haven't receive anything from them. I called them to check but they haven't receive it yet according to the person i spoke to usually it will take 35 days before they will receive it and wait for another 4 weeks for the case number. Hopefully it won't take that long. Good luck to us! ?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

OP have a look at signatures and timelines of TSC filers. CSC seems to work on slightly different timeframes. In the last month or so, it's been taking around 2 weeks from NOA2 to NVC receiving the files. You can see our timeline in our signature.

I have been following other threads that have said they have been waiting for NVC since March. I'm hoping we get the two week treatment as wbeem.

Wbeem and gilijen - does your USCIS page say that the case was transferred? Some have said they received a notification when it was sent and some are skeptical on if that case status is changed.

I called USCIS a while ago today and they said that they only send out the NOA2, but her script-reading left me less than confident in her answer.
