Still hopeful but its getting harder by the week. Another week where we have been left waiting and passed out by numerous May filers. We have now put a plan B for our wedding date but are remaining hopeful we don't need to actually use it. My fiancee will be visiting me here in Ireland in 25 days and by then we will be at 88 days waiting, just hoping the USCIS do try get our NOA 2 to us before then.

Good luck for next week everyone waiting

Congrats!

For us still waiting, I don't think I've seen any april filer get approved that wasn't an RFE recipient this past week. I think they process RFEs differently. Our boxes are likely still just collecting dust

You don't receive notification from them. you just have to call (1-603-334-0700) to see if they got it and/or if they have your case number available. it usually takes about 2-3 weeks (even though they'll tell you 35 days) from the NOA2 date for them to receive it and/or have your case number assigned. Mine still hasnt been received and i have an NOA2 date of 6/11. Good luck!

Thanks so much for that information! Wow, 6/11? Ours is 6/22 so I guess I won't call for awhile. I live only 20 minutes from that VISA center..... Maybe I should just go there in person in a couple of weeks. Lol

Pretty sure they process them as the person who proccesses them GETS them, not the order of date sent or recieved. Meaning, there may be say a folder pile and that piles getting lower, so who ever drops off the folders just plops it on top of the low folder pile. That's most likely how you get May people getting approved over April people. The files don't get to the people who process it in the order that the building recieved.

And RFE's most likely do go to someone else. There's probably the regular guys who check and then either approve or issue the RFE's and then the guys who sit down and do the RFE's seperately.

from what i've read on here (from people that used to work at uscis) they process their own RFE's. they leave the applications in a separate file that need additional information, and as they get the information daily, they match it up with the folder and then process that application right away.

as far as the order, i don't really know. from what i've read, they all grab their own boxes of applications from the storage area, they aren't "given" applications to do. but i'm not really sure.

regardless, they need to get their stuff in order because it's not fair to all the people still waiting waiting waiting. it sucks :(

Pretty sure they process them as the person who proccesses them GETS them, not the order of date sent or recieved. Meaning, there may be say a folder pile and that piles getting lower, so who ever drops off the folders just plops it on top of the low folder pile. If they keep throwing more and more petitions on top of my petition (which is probably all the way at the bottom of a box) then it will never get processed lol.
