Hey guys,

I haven't been in here for a while, my job is keeping me busy lol. I'm not up to date anymore. ;)

Just wanted to let you all know that I received my greencard this week!! I didn't even expect it, it was soo surprising! I got an interview waiver letter the end of July and I thought it would at least take another 6 months like they mentioned in the letter. I still can't believe it went so fast!

So there is hope for all the people that are getting interview waiver letters! :)

Have a great evening!

That's awesome! Congrats!

Thank you! My online status changed, but I just checked it today after I found my card in the mail and it says "My card was delivered to me by the post office." I don't know to what it changed before that because I told myself not to check it again until January. :D

Hello guys,

I had my interview last Monday. But I didn’t have time to post it this week, I am a full time student with a full time job. It don’t have much time to spare anymore!
Our interview was at the Saint Paul office. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the time scheduled, and went through a security line similar to airport. We went to the 3rd floor, and there were several people waiting in there. Regardless, we were called in right on time by an young male officer. He was very professional, with that Minnesota-nice character.
Right away he asked who was the petitioner and who was the sponsor. He then took my husband - my sponsor - in, and spent a good 10 minutes there with the IO. I was waiting in a pre-room, like a small waiting area.
After around 10 minutes, he then dropped my husband, and took me into his office. We had to go through a processing area. There I saw piles and piles of documents and folders. Boy, they seem to be busy there.
He then swore me in, and proceeded to ask a set of questions. Apparently was the same set of questions asked to my husband. He asked questions like our relationship and dates, and a few questions about rooms in our house.
Then he went through my applications, updated with my SSN, ask for addresses, and went through the questions on the form. His then asked if I had anything, or any documentation that would help with the case as evidence of bona fide marriage. Then I gave him around 10 photos, telephone bills from the past 3 months, a copy of a thank you card from the wedding, copy of the e-ticket for our honeymoon, and that was it.
His posture was always professional, and more on the technical side. He was very respectful, did not engage in personal talk, but was courteous and knew what he was doing. If I could rank his service, I would rank a 10 out of 10.
He then told me he would recommend me for approval, and I should see an e-mail later that day, or maybe the next day. He said he had the whole day booked, so he probably would only have time to do that early next morning.
Surely enough, next morning I got a text saying I was approved and a welcome notice was sent.
And friday night I received a text stating my card was mailed! Woo hooo!
Ps.: I didn’t feel like super excited when he approved. I was just relieved it was over! I knew it all along I had everything I need, and I live a very happy married life. Nothing to be worried about: its just a protocol. If you haven’t nothing to hide, then you probably will do fine.
I truly feel like a relief to have this waiting game over.
That’s all! Now I’m waiting for the card to get in the mail!!

Plus, I've seen a couple of people concerned that we don't post as much like we did before. The reason for me is simple: I'm back to school and taking a full time job. Its not like before that I was enjoying my summer vacation waiting for a EAD card. And I think that's the same reality for most of the people here.

Good luck y'all.
