Hi all,

i finally hear from NVC with instructions on what to do next.

The first step is to the select a agent. I am the petitioner for my parents and I selected myself as their agent.

The last step on the DS-261 form is to sign and submit, should I sign it or do my parents need to be the one signing this?

On the first step of the form I selected that I was the petitioner, I will assume that I could sign, what did you guys do?

Ps: my parents live in my home country and are not very computer savvy.

Thanks!

Anybody here petitioning their parents in the Philippines who already have their parent's visa approved?

My parents are asking how many months will they get on their visas once approved - how long until the Visa expires? 1 month, 3 months?

The expiration should show in the visa

Reason why they're asking is because they still need to take care of retirements and all that. So they want to atleast get an estimate how long can they still stay in PI before they fly to US.

Thanks

Hi guy,

I made a mistake and I need help!

When my AOS fees was showing as PAID, I sent my AOS documents to NVC.

Now that my IV fees is showing as PAID, I was about to send my IV documents and I realized that the NVC website says that I should have sent the two packages together. I am sure where I got the impression that I could send these 2 packages separately, probably from some old threads (Man i should i have focused on the NVC website only). The NVC website says "After you collect your Affidavit of Support form(s) and financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of your forms, financial evidence, and photocopies of your original civil documents inONE package to the NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you fail to submit all of your documents in one package."

Btw I have already received a confirmation email from NVC regarding the AOS documents.

Did anyone else send the package separately? if yes did your case got significantly delayed?

What do I do now? should I just send the IV package documents with the cover letter?

Should I include the AOS documents in the IV and send them again?

Thanks

Hi Everyone. I am only here for one thing and that is SIGNATURES for my petition.

A brief description. (I won't be able to answer any questions as I will be on here one time only to get the word to help my inlaws to see her son again).

Please help reunite my husband with his family by signing my petition. Thank you and God Bless you all. Your signature is more than the stars in the sky and costs you nothing. I pray God will bless you and give you happiness in this life.

Please sign your name to my petition and confirm it in your email as well.

Dear Friends,

I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People, a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 99,999 signatures by December 27, 2015, the White House will review it and respond!

We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the Obama Administration to take action on a range of issues. If a petition gets enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.

You can view and sign the petition here:

http://wh.gov/idn2H

Here's some more information about this petition:

Please allow my husband Abdulaziz's family a visit visa to see him in Texas. He misses them.

My in laws who live in Saudi Arabia and are Pakistani love and miss their son along with his sisters and brothers. Please allow them a visit visa to the United States. As a United States Navy Veteran I assure you they will return back to Saudi Arabia and I affirm that they have the highest moral character. Mr. President and the people of the United States, if there is one wish I could give my husband it is to see his loving family over the holidays like everyone of us so cherishes. Please sign my petition so my husband can reunite with his family. God willing he will see them again.

I am new to the immigration forum so please forgive me if I am posting this question here
I'm USC and planning of submitting a petition for my parents to come living here but I really don't have that much of information to start.

so I have few questions to ask to start it from the beginning and I hope I will find everything here.

1-Do I need to file Affidavit of support I-864 with the I-130 to the USCIS?

2-What other documents needed to be filled with I-130 ?

Hi guys!

I will like to resurrect this thread for those who filed I-130 for their parents in March, have you hear back from NVC? what stage are you now?

I sent all the required documents to NVC and I received an email that they require 30 days to review all documents. They received my documents on Dec 2nd. On January 4th I called them and they say to give them a few more weeks. Anyone else? are you waiting for NVC?

Thank you!
