Comments : Well i had my k1 interview july 11,2011.The consul was nice and she just ask me a few questions, like my name and date of birth,my fiances name and if i have a child. So i said yes i do have a child with my petitioner. Then she ask again if my child is already a US citizen since she saw his BC that his father is already a us citizen when he was born...so told her that we had and interview scheduled for my son.then after answering her question she ask me if iam willing to marry him within 90 days of my arrival in US and i said YES!so she smiled and say ok, you are fine! And after that she ask me to submit the crba approval of my child then they will issue my visa.

After sending the photocopy of my sons crba and US passport on aug 1,2011 i just received my visa today aug 5,2011.Thank God

Comments : First i wanna thank this site for my visa journey. And i want to tell that we are approved on our AOS interview. From the very start i know this site will be helpful on my AOS thats why i didnt tell to my husband to hire a lawyer coz everything is here. This site is very specific and of course a lot of VJ members who are very accomodating esp. if you have questions.
By the way i just want to share my aos interview. Its good thing that my son has no school today becoz no one will take care of him. We arrived at there at around 12:15 and our appointment is 1pm.It was a long line and you have to go inside 1 by one for inspection. Then after that we gave our appointment letter to one of the window there and wait for our name to be called. At 1:30 my name was called and a FIL-AM lady was the one who interviewed us.Well, she first ask if my son is US citizen already and we answered yes! Then after that he ask me my name,DOB,my parents first name.So after that she looked at our files and checked some information on it.Then she asked me my passport,my husbands passport and id,and my EAD card. Then while looking on it she started a conversation to my husband and start talking tagalog hehehe. Then asked documents as a proof of our relationship. So we gave her credit cards with our names, health, dental, vision insurance card and 401k as iam the beneficiary. Everytine we show something to her she just smiled and making kwento to us and asked for my husbands work and position. And while tping on the computer she told us that our proof is very strong. After typing she smiled and told us that shes approving our case!Praise God!
Me and husband was so happy and while we are walking out the building we received a text from uscis and its card production yehey....
All in all it took us 3 months from filing the aos til approval.

Embassy Review : i feel nervous from the time that the plane landed at los angeles international airport.Of course the only reason is what would happen during my interview with immigration officer but its really a blessing because all things are good and fine.He only ask my name and my petitioner and when is our wedding day.And i really thank the girl who accompany me and help me from Manila airport til we landed and finally at the exit area of los angeles airport. One day we will meet again and i really thank you.

Embassy Review : February 13,2012 is our AOS interview with my husband. We arrived there at 12:15pm and got inside at around 12:40pm.We gave our appointment letter to one of the window and waited for our name to be called. At 1:30pm my name was called.A FIL-AM lady opened the door and we taught that shes not the Consul but we are wrong...She let us come in and ask some questions.

MY NAME
DATE OF BIRTH
PARENTS FIRST NAME
DATE OF MARRIAGE
MY HUSBANDS WORK AND POSITION
ASKED FOR MY PASSPORT,EAD CARD
MY HUSBANADS PASSPORT AND ID

The consul was very nice and she always smiles and making some kwento while shes looking at our documents. She also asked for proof of our relationship. So we gave her credit card in our names, health insurance,401k as iam the benfiaciary and life insurance. After checking all the documents we gave her she told us that shes approving our case.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
