love, just love your optimism!!!

i'm hoping your right.....looks like not many were scheduled for may.

Optimism or delusion. You pick!

I had another look at DWHEELS awesome database. Parsed out the Cdn data, and there have been several previous months where only 2 or 3 have been scheduled (not many VJers those months, perhaps?). Even more relevant, not many interviews were ever scheduled on the 20th of a month, but several by the end... so I will hit the "pause" button on my optimism until NEXT weekend, and hope for fireworks across Canada on the 27th.

Hope everyone has a great week.

I tried emailing the Sydney consulate and it got rejected: "Your message can't be delivered because delivery to this address is restricted." So I've emailed two other related addresses I've found.

Did you use this address:

Consulate E-Mail: support-australia@ustraveldocs.com Please ensure you include your case number in ALL correspondence with the consulate.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

I was the one that just updated that page ;) The previous email address doesn't resolve. The new email address I added does seem to work, but I haven't had a reply yet.

Got a reply from support-australia@ustraveldocs.com. So that definitely is the right address for the Sydney consulate. Unfortunately they said they're completely booked, so no earlier interview possible :(

You may not get a P4. There is no P3 letter that's K1. Everything is you and your embassy so you need to contact them. How long have no idea. Since it says Ready means they have you contact them now.

I emailed support-nepal@ustravel .. they stI'll can't give me exact answer all they say is to wait for letter from embassy. Since it is IR1 I don't know if embassy is tracking my documents still need to be scheduled for interview

Hey I think you are looking for the Montreal specific wiki. There are a few different good ones (that you can get to from the link below):

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_for_Montreal_Beneficiaries_%E2%80%93_Electronic_Processing_and_New_Online_Forms#Useful_Links

I know that this wiki is just about the NVC process and EP which is redundant now as you've already sent in your stuff but at the bottom under useful links there is a bunch of good information here (which is why I just keep this one as a favourite). Look at the "Canada Wiki" page for Montreal Consulate instructions (just be careful because it also goes through Vancouver for K1 visas) http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Canada. The "Links with Canadian Topics" takes you to a thread where people have discussed a whole bunch of important things (like taxes and shipping our belongings) and some less important, but interesting things (like what foods you can't get in the US that we have here haha) http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/347629-moving-to-the-us-summary-list-canadian-immigration-guide/#entry3008895. There are also links to the Montreal Consulate and DHL and spreadsheets and more. Like I said all of these links are under the heading "Useful Links" on the first link I posted above.

I'm not sure if you've found this thread yet: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/499883-nvc-thread-for-canadians/page-52

It's a bunch of Canucks sharing their experiences. People post reviews of the their medicals and interviews. It's great to stay on top of too!

Hope that helps!

How absolutely amazing and helpful of you!!!! Thank you so much!!!

I tried this as well and got the same answer. They only conduct visa interviews on Tuesdays (funnily enough this has not changed since 2010 when I went through the K1 visa process).

Oh well, at the very least it's not that far to go!

Hi Djwheels, I am from singapore and have just attended my interview on 17 Apr 15 at the Singapore US embassy and i have been approved. I am just waiting to pick up my passport now.

Just want to share my experience which i was caught unaware of at the embassy, After i was approved, i was told to register a profile online and select a delivery/pick up address for my passport(See attached)

post-175624-0-85405400-1429539053_thumb.jpg

. I left the embassy without thinking too much about it. Upon registering for my profile, i found out that the user profile setup required that i input my passport number and issue date and expiration date. 0_0!I had just renewed my passport and did not remember my passport number and had forgotten to take a photo of my passport prior to the interview.

I put in my old passport number (which is essentially my singapore identity card number with what i think is my new passport issue and expiration date. It allowed me to proceed to choose my delivery/pickup address. I think i may experience some problems upon collection, but i will bring along my old passport and my identification card for supporting evidence, and hopefully that helps. (sigh) wished the embassy officer had warned me about it.

Other than that, follow all advice on DJwheels on things to bring to the embassy, look confident and answer clearly and everything was fine. =).

Thank you DJWheels for everything! All the best to the rest!

Jamy2014, here is a potential solution:

1. Request an expedite at NVC today.

2. The Embassy will decide whether they can grant it for you

3. If the Embassy grants you the expeditious processing, they inform NVC about it.

4. Then, NVC transfers your file to the Embassy.

5. NeXT, the Embassy (not the NVC) will schedule your interview.

Good luck!
