Progress thread for TSC filers now between NVC and Interview Stage

Ok, hoping for an answer, thinking my question got lost this morning. If anyone can help me...thank you in advance. I'm thinking the visa updates come directly from the London embassy and not here in the states. With that being said, how late can we expect updates and is the London embassy working this weekend like other embassies? I know someone said they thought so,but I can't see anything posted that's 100% sure.

They do issue their own briefings usually every morning/afternoon now. Wish we had better conclusive answers on what's going on for sure.

That's how I am interpreting the update. They didn't say "Some" like they have in past updates. Of course it's only speculation, but it makes sense they would push for all of them to get caught up this weekend.

In the end, when we are finally with our loved ones, and staring the process of AOSing in the face and another long idiotic wait, will being angry with each other on a forum really be worth it?

Well said Yuna!!

Some of us have been at this process longer than others, but the simple truth is, we are ALL frustrated with being away from our loved ones.

We have ALL missed birthdays and holidays, days where you want nothing more than to crack open some bubbly and celebrate something great that happened to one of you, and days where it breaks your heart that you can't be there to hold their hand when something bad/sad has happened.

We ALL miss all the little things our friends, family, and co-workers take for granted: children's party's, 4th of July BBQ's, date night to see the newest movie out that everyone is raving about.

We ALL sit through the interrogations at family dinners and office party's of how much longer? Are you guys married yet? When will he/she be here?

That is the best thing about this site, we are ALL going through this roller coaster ride together. We find strength and hope in each other's progress, confirmation that there IS a light at the end of this long, dark tunnel. We also find comfort and support when it seems the tunnel is getting longer and darker. Nobody in our everyday lives can understand the wave of emotions this process puts us through, that's why we come here. To be with people that understand the struggle we are having, to answer the questions and concerns that keep us up at night and to hold our hands when we feel this journey will never end.

I personally would like to thank every person that has shared their knowledge, support and words of wisdom with James and myself. Some days it seems I have more questions than answers but at this site I have found people who are patient and more than willing to hold our hands and point us in the right direction because they too have been where we are now and know the frustration we are going through.

Special thank you to Nich-Nick for all the tutorials and assistance. You should write a book and call it the idiot's guide to K1.. Bet it would be a best seller.

Oh what a numpty I am, sent my DS-160 but forgot the readiness form. +5 days to the wait... ahh at least I realised.

Not necessarily +5. The wait is a pretty fluid, unpredictable amount of time. The readiness could be there before they even opened the medical results delivery.
