Why? Only a regular copy of the marriage certificate you receive from the court is required.

The courthouse only send you one copy of the marriage certificate (by postal mail) after the wedding. Any additional copy you have to pay. We used, for AOS, the marriage certificate they first sent us.

So we requested them to send 2 extra copies for our personal records... One for my hubby and the other one to take with me whenever I travel abroad to visit my family in Argentina. Just to be safe, in case we happen to lose one of the 2 copies. :)

Okay. You only needed to send a copy of the marriage certificate the court mailed to you. You do not have to send the one you receive from the court, just a copy of it.

Hi Ligaya10 , regarding the vaccination cost, it depends per state. Here in Tucson, I tried to call at least 12 USCIS Civil surgeons and compared the prices. The price range here is from $80 - $125 just for the vaccination record alone since we just had our Medical Examination back in St. Lukes, Manila. Please check on the designated USCIS Civil Surgeons from the USCIS website on your state then I suggest you call them if they can do vaccination record only and ask for the price. Hope this helps. Other states have vaccination record that only cost $50.

You should submit only photocopies of certified documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.) to USCIS. You then take the originals to your interview (if you have one) so that the IO can compare the copy you provided to the original, if they so wish.
