Oh gosh...!!! I have reached 6 months of waiting for my GC approval after NPIW. So far I got no news yet. I have submitted a request for check status on Feb 24, and it's supposed to give me some answer by today March 19, I still got nothing still. What are they actually doing in their office????

wow our timelines are similar...i was predicting to refile the ead renewal after april 17th but hopefully my husband will have his greencard by then. I have filed 3-4 service requests and contacted a senator and it all got the same answer "a delay in processing". I also filed for obudsman (spelling?) and heard nothing as well.

I am guessing they are gossiping about the files and the couples story that land on their desk..."hey bob wait till you hear this one...!"

I hope we could get some new by April. It is so insane to waiting for their approval that loooooooooooong till we need to renew our EAP.????

congratulations! can you tell us your timeline? like when did you filed your application... that will be helpful for us who are still waiting to hear this good news it does not feel like it is going happen though

if you guys can take the time to answer me, 2 months ago, when i check my online status, it changed in to the system does not recognise the receipt number entered and i called USCIS and they said it is totally ok and my file is active and it will be processed sequentially! (I don't know if they have a system that show them my file) but while reading this thread, it does not seem like any body has this kind of online status message or talk about things like that so I'm getting worried. do any of your guys have a status popping up that says "your receipt number is not recognised and try to enter it again"? the previous message before this one was, we can't find your application to show the status online and that was fine because many applicants have that kind of message when they want to check their status online, but this one is making me uncomfortable. what if they lost it?? I'm praying not. but any experience from you guys will be a help.

Wow you have been waiting a long time filed in 2010? You must have set a record!!! They updated their systems a couple of months ago not sure if that has anything to do with it. I know it sounds silly but did you put in the number starting with msc? Did you apply for K1 before this, what are you adjusting from? If it isn't a K1 you will probably get an interview in the near future, can't tell you much else as I can't see much on your time line.

I'm adjusting from K-1 visa with I-485, I applied in June, 2014 and got waiver letter in september 2014. yes i do check my status with MSC....

Very strange. Do you log in to do so? If you do log in, what I would advise is disable your automatic log in, if you have it on automatic. Then log in with a new email address and see if that works. Currently the USCIS seems to be working on March and April filers, I am presuming once they finish those they will be on to May and June, you can ask for a service request once it shows your local field office is working on your dates, although they don't go to the local field office!

03/11: Ordered new card to be produced

03/18: Mailed your new card

03/18+6ish hrs: USPS collected your new card

03/19: Apparently USPS delivered it to my door

Less than 24 hrs - about the only part of this that was quick. Let's hope it's still there when I get back!

Well received the letter response today in the mail for our 2nd service request:

Your application is still pending consideration. While we are not able to give you a timeline for when we will complete the review of your application, we can report that your file is currently being processed at the USCIS National Benefits Center.

Now, everyone has been reporting that the letter will come from where their application is currently at. This letter came from the Newark office, but it clearly states that our application is still at National Benefits Center. Kinda strange.

If your local office is Newark then this is absolutely normal. This is a bog standard reply and it certainly sounds like your case is still at the NBC.
