I should point out that I simply filled out that form, I did nothing else in terms of emailing the Ombudsman, and if I remember right it took about a month to hear ANYTHING, I completely forgot I even did it, so to see people contacting them and getting an approval the same week shows they're doing something different (The Ombudsman that is)

I was thinking that when you told me and these two approvals were posted about two minutes apart so there could be a link between them. Perhaps the OMBUDSMAN rang up and spoke to a tier 2 about both cases and they pressed the approve button? It only takes a couple of mins for them to look at the files after all and we did hear from Plato that some go to field offices, some actually get approved virtually, which I am assuming is done online with the evidence or something?

I received my wife's approval GC text msg/email yesterday at 1230pm est. I also received a text msg/email this morning stating "card was ordered to be produced."
