For K-1 visa class, it's 3 years from the legal resident date on your GC to eligibility for naturalization...no matter when you get the 10 year card, either by 2 year marriage or ROC...

Just got off the phone with my senator's office. Basically she called the Manchester Field office where my file is located, and they told her that USCIS states that processing time is 9-12 months from NOA date (which i already knew) so since my NOA date is May 20th 2014 I am STILL within USCIS processing times. She also said the GC is not a priority because my husband is able to work and travel with the EAD combo card. She stated kinda rudely that we still have 30 more days to wait until they will start processing our file, then when past 30 days we will be outside of processing time. My card has arrived at the local post office, last night it says Monday delivery... But to my surprise it says today is the delivery day today. 5-6 hours til the post arrives. Hopefully I get my card... Worrying that last month USPS said I don't live at the address and returned one of my bank statements... I've lived her ever since I entered the USA.

If your post office is nearby, you might be able to pop down with the tracking number and see if it can be picked up.

I don't understand how they can be dealing with august when my January application is still pending with no RFEs I don't have a remotely complicated case, we are same age, same educational background, dated for 2 years prior to marriage etc

Received EAD in the mail today, but not an A/P combo card, I told that attorney that is was not automatic!

Your attorney needs to join the thread might be able to give out some sound advice if they did, instead of toddle!

I was having a pretty cruddy day. Pulled muscles in my leg, shoulder and back. And then I did my periodic Friday check on the USCIS Website.

"Your card has been ordered for production.

My filing date was 05/28/2014 and my NOA1 was 06/03/2014 with a 09/10/2014 NPIW.

August? I don't think Ive seen August filers yet. I have however seen a lot of June filers and some July ones. I think you need to send a letter of complaint or something!

I know you've posted that you regularly file SR's. Do they come from Lee's Summit or a FO? Have you called and ask Tier 2 what the @%#$@ is going on and why are you screwing me? Have you filed a inquiry with the ombusman and/or your Congressman?

Unless you are a pest they will never admit they've forgotten or lost your case. 16 months is beyond ridiculous...

I'm not even going to complain after seeing someone waiting since January 2014. Nothing to say except were still waiting and suspect we will be for another 2 months at the very least.

So my status hasn't changed but i checked the mail this morning and got a request for a new medical, the peticioners 2014 tax return and for some reason, childrens birth cirtificates. My kids didn'timmigrate with me, and his daughter is 18 so not sure why they need those. I am so angry. They delayed the case for 6 months while they have a "workflow delay nota ssociated with my case" and I have 87 days to get this back to them or they will rescess my "approved application"

and Dr Chima checked off "incomplete on my immunizations even thugh he gave me the one I was missing, thus completing all my immunizations. I am so frustrated. I am still sending in my renewal for EAD as well, and hopefully get my medical next week so this can all be done asap. and my case is sitting in California.

I don't even know if I can get my kids birth cirtificates. My Ex has them in Canada and is very difficult to deal with. The medical, isn't cheap...and the tax return...well they had three years previous, 11/12/13 so this seems redundant. Although I did notice at the bottom of the letter it says approved application, so I had some hope. I was just ...irritated.

So should I still send in my EAD extension? or just get this done. my EAD expires, along with my drivers license in July.

I sent of e-mails to Senators Cruze and Cornyn just to vent.

Are you sure they want your children's birth certificates specifically? Or are they just asking you to provide proof of on-going relationship? The reason I ask is I received an RFE for a new medical, and proof of on-going relationship, and in the list of examples of supporting evidence on my RFE they listed children's birth certificate as an option (I don't have children). Point being, they might not need that piece of evidence specifically but were just giving an example of things you can provide as proof.

noa1 on my wife's aos was may 22, 2014, now she got a stupid letter today, dated on april 24th 2015, saying because of some new rule on june 1, 2014, she has to redo her 1-693 because its over a year old and send that in within 30 days of the notice, but by Monday there is only 20 days left to get it in, this stuff is getting absurd.

Congrats everyone who got their GCs recently! That's great. So sad to see that people have to submit new medicals and tax returns. That's nuts!
