Agent Form Review

I saw some individuals here on the form were able to get their Agent form reviewed over the phone.

Just want to ask how were you able to do it because I kept getting told to wait for 45 days.

keep calling until you get the right rep. some are mean and rude but others and nice and will do it for you keep trying until you get a nice one!

Same story here. Today I got some who said I had to wait 45 days..But last week another rep told me that If my form was available in their system she could have approved it (last week it was not in their system yet). suck...I am going to try until i find a nice person...

I think i am having really bad luck...i tried calling again today but no luck. The answer I am getting is that my form is locked and they can't edit it. The operator suggested to call next week. I was wondering if submission of AOS package might have locked the form from review by the operator.

Anybody else having the same issue or any luck getting it reviewed over the phone.

It is not about whether they are mean or not....the lady that finally reviewed my form said that she had been there a long time and knew how to review 261's that were "stuck" in the system, but the newer employees did not know. She said she had been seeing a lot of 261's that were "stuck". It literally took her less than a minute to review it..this evening my IV fee opened (approximately 36 hours after my 261 was reviewed). This lady has an older voice...so keep calling and hope for this lady! Good luck.

Try calling them at night, 2 or 1.5 hrs before they close. After several tries during the day, I found a nice rep at night.

This sounds like the same lady who handled my agency "stuck" request about 6 weeks ago. And I had the same experience... about 36 hours later, my IV fee was invoiced and appeared on the Fees page as available to be paid.

I tried calling again today and I spoke with "Waldo" he promise to look at the form. He was going to ask his supervisor to unlock it for review. Now I will wait and see what happens; he said it should be done tonight.

Guys..Just one question...at the end of DS-261.as well as DS-260..it asks to accept and do electronic signature...What is that???

Do we have to do signature with the mouse as we do with normal pen or its sumthg else.????...

Can as a petitioner i do that signature on my spouse's behalf >>???

I looked through my DS-261 and I don't recall doing any sort of signature with mouse or normal pen.

I think you should read it and see if entering spouse name would be the signature.

I filled out the DS261 on behalf of my spouse and it seems a very common practice.

If I am not wrong I think it says by clicking the submit burton you are consenting to have signed the form electronically.

So I followed what people suggested here and called and was on hold for a record one and a half hours. But when the gentleman who answered I asked him to check for me if my DS-261 has been reviewed, he said it doesn't look like it but he can do that if I want. So he confirmed the info and I gave him my email and told me I will receive the IV bill soon. I don't know how soon but one step at a time I guess. Hope you guys trying this can get the mystery solved sooner.

I called again today since there was no update on the view of the AOS...

Spoke with "Sally" she said she is not able to review for it, the form is still locked and she was going to forward it to her supervisor and to call back by end of the week.

I am still stuck..can't get this thing part moving. :-)
