guys

what is up with that NO INTERVIEW for GC situation... ??? how does people pass that stage without interview for AOS?????

Usually when enough evidence is provided and the adjudicators have everything they need then there is a greater chance the interview is waived!

What is enough evidence? What documents should we send to have a good chance to get the waiver?

Hi guys we just applied for SSN again today in different branch and we got it. Yay thank God! They just put my maiden name since it's on my I-94 even I put my married name on the application sheet. I guess its just depends on the officers if they know what theyre doing and know the rules. Lol

My question is when can I change my married name? After we submit the AOS? Or after they approved our AOS?

I am looking at the AOS stuff and it looks like when we submit the AOS, our fiance's are given conditional permanent resident status. Is that right or am I interpreting that incorrectly? Do we need to wait for the actual document?

"You are given conditional resident status on the day you are lawfully admitted to the United States on an immigrant visa or adjustment of your status to permanent residence." The instruction letter states to bring an original copy of the birth certificate to the interview. Is that the birth certificate of the US citizen or the fiance?

Should be beneficiary fiancé birth certificate.

guys

what is up with that NO INTERVIEW for GC situation... ??? how does people pass that stage without interview for AOS?????

Kash2011 had the best answer: "Usually when enough evidence is provided and the adjudicators have everything they need then there is a greater chance the interview is waived!"

what is the chance of that? do we have to file another paper to waive the interview?

Everyone has a chance but there are so many different factors involved. But bottom line is no one can say for sure what will make case interview waived. Having a well documented, neat and complete AOS package has a great baring on your case. If there is one questionable item, then surely they will have the interview with you. Again, no one can say what that one item is as there, I am sure, many that can be construed as questionable.

What is enough evidence? What documents should we send to have a good chance to get the waiver?

It's not something that you can do. There are no waivers per say. It's just luck of the draw.

Ours was adjudicated without an interview. The action alone sped up the issuance of the GC sooner and not later.

I keep hearing the tick tok tick tok in my head waiting for my NOA2. Does anyone else hear it?

I was concerned about a major slow down last week at TSC, but it seems they are back in the swing of NOA2 things. I think the latest estimates have been exaggerated my a few of the profiles. Namely, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/182979-waterlily06/
