I am sending all the paystubs from my job since I started in November. However, I really, really, really think you'll want to send in more than 2 paystubs. You need to show that you have current income that will meet the 125% poverty line amounts (or somewhere close). I think the letter of employment will help, but I would also send in more than one tax return. I sent in 2011, 2012, and 2013 transcripts with the petition and noted it in a separate tab. I will send the 2014 transcripts (when I eventually GET THEM!!! :ranting: ) Don't forget the Form W-2 copy that matches the last year's return as well.

I am suggesting all year's paystubs, or at the very least, the last full three months. What if the officer wants to calculate what you've earned so far? If you have YTD info, highlight it, but they may want to see and compare too. They may feel more comfortable if you have a consistent pay, but if they don't know if your pay varies from check to check, they may feel a little doubtful.

Thanks for your response!

Did you send the originals or copies?

Of what - paystubs or returns?

My paystubs are electronic, so I printed them out. I am sending copies of the Form W-2's from last year (one I got electronic and one was mailed to me). I am then sending transcripts only.

I'm finally done at the 1 hour and 18 minute mark. 10 minutes before I had to be at work. lol

I've got my case number and she looked it up for me and said it is currently in administrative processing. Does that mean that it's already in Kiev? I have not had a chance to look it up yet on CEAC.

Be prepared for a long wait... I've heard that for AP (which is in NVC) they check basically for everything and it can take couple of month... Look at the NVC section of this forum, there are some people with AP and generally many people from former USSR countries get AP at NVC.

ambrolla

what makes me think about this issue is;

they never ask my fiancee (beneficiery) email adress.. i gave them on a phone call (to nvc) .. i am wondering if they got it right.. im also wondering whatever email beneficiery will receive if petitioner is receiving also???

Well, I gave only my email and I never gave my boyfriend's email. So, if they'll send something, they are supposed to send to my email. But! Since my boyfriend already paid for consular interview fee (before the currency went up again) + filled out DS-160, they might send it to him too since he gave his email there. My boyfriend's theory is that once you'll pay for the consular interview, it will take couple of days for them to "find" our documents. So, if this theory is correct, they will find our documents by the middle of June. And I don't that an email that you gave over the phone is an issue since she has to fill out DS-160 too :)

I haven't read anything about AP during NVC for K-1 filers. That's not to say it doesn't happen, I just haven't come across it yet. The one's I've come across in AP at NVC have all been spousal visas. They have to send a lot of info to NVC before the petition is sent to the embassy, but K-1 filers don't have any action to take at NVC, so this is why our wait is substantially less.

Don't be concerned about anything until you see your case on CEAC.GOV. If your case number was just created, you will need to wait for several days before it's reflecting the actual status. If it says "At NVC", that doesn't mean AP.

Let us know!

One of the times I had called the NVC they told me I was in AP.... I found this (in the end) to mean it was in transit from New Hampshire to Manila.

Hm without a Camera it's not working with camera anyway..so with a headset..but you can't call NVC without having credits.

I missed that part, my apologies. With so many people here months ahead of where my petition is, I only skim the posts these days.

What do all of you guys look forward to changing in your daily routine when your fiance is here? What about you guys?

My fiance will probably get up here while I'm still in school, so there won't be much I can change with homework, classes, and work; however, I know I'll sleep better at night beside him, and I'll eat better because he'll cook for me when I don't have time myself, and I know I'll relax more because he has a way of helping me put down what I'm working on without getting overwhelmed that I'm not constantly working all the time.

Then we'll be apart for a few months while I do Teach for America summer training, and then we'll both be moving and everything will change. When I began the TFA application, we both knew we wanted to preference locations away from home--we felt it was important to start something new together, by ourselves, rather than constantly trying to make one of us comfortable in the other's already established life. It'll be an adveture, certainly scary, but we'll be together.
