Got the appoinment letter

:dance: ohhhh wehhheeeey my hubby already have the appoinment leter from NVC as of the moment and i dont know what to feel :P we got the April 27th interview... he called the NVC (friday morning my time) the night before and they said to call back on 16th but the following day after work he got the letter i gues they sometimes dont know what there saying on th phone Ohhh well dont matter as long as i got the news after 6 months! Good luck every1 on your journey also ....

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval

My question : They already have the appts. scheduled for April ??? Hmmmm ... I thought they don't know till the 3rd week of the month ?

Reunited and it feels so good ....

NOA #1 - March 23rd, 2004

Interview- May 18th, 2006 (Success !)

Arrived in the US - May 27, 2006 (our IR-1 visa journey was 2 years and 2 months long)

Wedding - June 17th, 2006

It's a Girl ! Baby Hana's expected due date - March 30th, 2007

Not really,

If you are in the states, you can call Department of States and find out the Interview dates.

Also, NVC schedules interviews for some embassies, so you can call NVC and find out the dates too..

I believe, all embassies post the Next months interview dates on their website around 15th of the each month.

Sam I wish they did but not all embassies show visa information we have to contact DOS or the embassy itself for this information. :(
