I need your help friends,

NVC closed my mom case almost 2 weeks ago and still no e-mail to confirm that, and for my dad we received the e-mail because his case was 3 weeks before my mom.I don't understand why, plus we don't have interview date.

Also they told us that we have to change some information on i834 because we missed one part, so we have to change and came at the interview we change document.

In the part of Place of Birth where is the STATE/PROVIDENCE we didn't put anything because we don't have providence.City where I am born is Kumanovo, and Counrty is Macedonia, what should I put like State/Providence?

Thank you so much

For my husband, we put selo - city - country. For example: Janchishte, Tetovo, Macedonia

But if you were born in actual Kumanovo, I personally would put kumanovo, Kumanovo, Macedonia

BellaRosa did you receive their checklist e-mail already? I have not. Can I use a copy of the cover sheet I have to send it to save time?

I received an email about 1 hr after confirming with NVC that I will be getting a checklist. Unfortunately, you need NVC to provide you with the cover sheet since all checklist cover sheets are not the same. For example, the cover sheet i was provided with, has a bar code and my case number. It says Use this cover sheet only for the case number indicated. Call NVC and have them email your checklist. Thank you so much for your support. Prayers and patience is all i have left.

Thank you CeeMu for your explanation, That was exactly what the NVC rep. told me about the spouse's form. Thanks also for child's explanation too. So can I use the cover sheet of the first CHECKLIST to send the updated AOS form before receiving their e-mail?

What counts is the barcorded cover that identifies your casefile. Actually we mailed in ours without the mail but the aos cover :)

For nyala and bella - when I got my checklist I didn't wait for the mail. I sent in the corrections using the original cover sheet and bar code page from my original submission and I still got a cc within 25 days. The 'you must include this cover page' warning isn't a requirement. The documents still get reviewed on a first come first serve basis. If I were you, I would send the correction ASAP. No point waiting for the actual mail.

Thank you so much. I have read previously about writing the case number on the documents sent for checklist. Can this be truly done? Does writing the case number on the upper left corner of the documents acceptable? In my case i will be sending originals.

That is perfectly fine. I wrote my case number on top right corner of every page I sent.
