Letter of intent at the interview?

My fiance's interview is in 2 days.. Does he need to bring an UPDATED letter of intent to the interview? If so, since I won't have time to mail it to him, would it be okay if I just scan it to him?

I think that should be fine as long as your signature and date is updated! If you want to add more details (in regards to wedding plans) you can do that as well.

I have read your previous posts and IMHO I believe you guys have a strong ongoing relationship.

I also believe it should be fine if you scan it and if he prints it.

You need the original signed and dated within 30 days of the interview. It was the case for me in Montreal (Canada). The consulate officer actually asked for it and looked at the date. It might be different in your country as I have heard some do not even I ask for it.

Depends on your consulate. Not all require another letter of intent from the USC petitioner and/or beneficiary. Follow the instructions from your consulate on what is required for the interview. If you have to, used scanned copy if that is your only option and it is needed.

Just the signature is fine and the date. No need for notery or anything. One letter is enough. Im including it just in case they ask for it at the interview.

I have a separate letter from the person who is performing our wedding, stating the date and time of the wedding, as well as his phone number and his signature.
