Hi Everyone!

I found out today that I got my CC on February 6th! I'm super exited, I just had to share with everyone! :) Does someone in here know how long does it take to get an interview scheduled at the U.S Embassy in Lima, Peru?

Congratulations. With NVC being closed so much no tellin when. Peru is usually not a long wait and scheduling for March for all embassies just started last week. Fingers crossed for you. Welcome to the group. You are added to the spreadsheet now.

You can go anytime you want. Issued doesn't always mean its ready for pickup. But you can always call the place. I believe they have a number you can call to verify.

Did you find your passport? I would be panicked too.

Yes! Thankfully it was in the one place I suspected it could be - the front external pocket of my old, retired handbag! PHEW!

I was looking at dwheels spreadsheet and australian with scan date around your time got interviews on the 12/13th of the month for the following month, so you should get a march interview by end of this week!

crossing my fingers for you

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

Thanks BMF you have always been one of my top cheerleaders! I do certainly hope you're right, that'd be so amazing. Would mean I'd have to get my butt into gear for selling my precious Jeep Wrangler but that's ok.... I'll manage..

OMG! That's crazy. I wonder why it is taking so long?! Last few months there were tons of people with K1's getting interviews. Im getting really anxious about missing my husband. He also has a job waiting for him. I pray they don't change their minds and give his position away. He will be so disappointed. Guess it's time for a drink lol.

Called nvc this evening, no date set. So im assuming we wont get one in March since I saw that some already have their date set for March 23. I was hoping we got a date set in March since our case was complete on dec 23. I cant take this process no more. Its truly stressful.

I don't know why it seem as if things are being done backwards here. people who are here illegal get their green card faster than us who are petitioning for our spouse and family legally. K1's has intent to get married. we are married, so we go to the back of the line.
