Green card in hand!! I'm so excited, this was at least 5 months earlier than I expected to get it based on how long it's been taking other people to get their cards.

Filed: Jan 26, 2015

Interview wavier letter: early June 2015

AOS approved: Sept 2, 2015

GC mailed: Sept 8, 2015

GC in hand: Sept 11, 2015

The only small problem I encountered was that it was supposed to arrive yesterday but for some reason USCIS didn't include my apartment number when they addressed it. My case status on USCIS website changed from "card mailed" to "card undeliverable" and gave me the tracking number. So, after a small panic, I called the post office and gave them the tracking number and my Apt# and it was delivered today. :)

Hello All, This might be something that has been discussed before but just to clear. Once you have your green card you are pretty much done with the whole immigration process until next 2 years when you asked for conditions to be removed. You can travel out of the country carrying just the green card and passport? Pls confirm....Congrats to everyone who already got their green card and good luck to the one who are still waiting.

Well, I finally got something from the USCIS - notice of potential interview waiver letter came in the mail yesterday, it was dated September 9. So I guess now I go back to waiting and in December I need to send in a renewal of my EAD.. Seriously doubt that they'll approve me by then...
