Hi everyone .. I was hoping some of you could help me with a concern of mine. My passport was on the lamp table and because of some reasons it fell down on the floor and the rabbit saw it and ate the back cover. I am lucky my husband saw it early that the rabbit just did a small damaged on it. I am planning to visit the Philippines this last week of January and i am not sure if they will accept my passport at the airport. I attached a photo of my damaged passport and i hope someone could give me advice on what to do. Thank you in advance.

Replace it. I doubt it's valid for travel anymore, and certainly not to the US.

:crying::crying::crying: i am hoping that they will still accept it since the bar code is still intact... but i guess i really have to replace it.. i am really mad with my rabbit right now but it's really my fault because i let him out of his cage. :crying::crying::crying: I read online that it will cost me more than a $100 and 6-8 weeks before i receive the replacement. :crying::crying::crying:

That really sucks that happened.

You will have to replace it unfortunately that's way too much damage for them to ignore

Maybe see if there is an express service I think you would have to go in person I would advise call ASAP to see what you can do

Because you may have to delay or cancel your trip :(

Good luck

I had a US passport that was watersoaked and tore up worse and it was fine to enter the Philippines

That will probably work ( I am just guessing), if you can replace it then do so, if not I would roll the bones and go with it.......

It isn't worth the risk.

I replaced my passport back in 2008 in Philadelphia and the expedite service was $60. I had it the same day. Regular service takes about 4-6 weeks.

You need to replace it. They will not you leave the U.S. with a damaged passport. Trust me on this. I got to Miami and they would not let me fly and my passport was only slightly damaged. It is not worth the risk. Use a service to expedite or go there in person if allowed. Check with the office. Only people that had tickets leaving in 48 hours were allowed to do it in person and it was a zoo. Had to wait in line for 5 hours and I was there at 7 and they open at 8 and was already 100 plus people in line. REPLACE IT NOW.

It's really not worth the risk of not replacing it, looks like your rabbit was pretty hungry!
