We just received our I-751 receipt notice today, stating that we are extended for one year. :) Waiting now for the biometrics, how do they decide where to go to get biometrics? We are close to Houston, TX but our application goes through Vermont service center.

Interesting...... I've got the i-797 NOA , tried to view my case status on the USCIS site, entered the case number and it does "not recognize the receipt number entered". When I call in, same thing. I have not talked to a live person yet, and have resently found out there's a letter from USCIS at my old address!! HOW in the world does that happen when I got my NOA at my current address? The same address I got my green card? GEEZ! I'll get the letter later today. Post later what it's all about.

You should be able to look up your case status on the USCIS portal with the case# that comes with your Bio (ASC) appointment notice in the next few weeks! What is the receipt notice date on you NOA? you need that date for the list! Thanks.

You should be able to look up your case status on the USCIS portal with the case# that comes with your Bio (ASC) appointment notice in the next few weeks! What is the receipt notice date on you NOA? you need that date for the list! Thanks.

So, the letter was to let me know my Green Card was expiring & to fill out the i-797 form. I'm guessing they just send those out to all addresses you've had on flie, so you are surely reminded you're card is going to expire. Whew! No worries there...

Weird, did you get the same letter at your new address? And you must have filed a change of address form when moving right? I got the reminder at our new address and had filed the change of address form when we moved last year. Now I am wondering if a random person living in our old apartment got a letter from USCIS (it doesn't forward here anymore).

We only got it at the new address, although they did send it out about a month before the 90 day window. We still had a forward in effect and my mother lives at our old address.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Question: I received the NOA addressed to my wife, her daughter (minor child) was listed on the I-751 as they both came here together. Should I expect another NOA letter for the child? Thanks for the help!
