It varies/depends on each case. I got the checklist after they reviewed our case for more than 60 days (approx. 70 days). After the items were sent based on the checklist, I got an email saying that they will process for 60 days. (that's another 60 days!) . Good luck!!

Hoping and praying that we won't have a checklist. Thank you :)

That is because you are from the Philippines...every time I see a CC 2 weeks or more earlier than the 60 days it is a case from the Philippines or another type of expedite. Quite frankly I am getting perturbed by this scenario so far past the original tragedy .Americans living overseas with their spouses WERE being expedited the same way..but no more.Makes me want to scream....I am not picking on anyone and am happy that yal got the almighty CC but it is so hard on many of us seeing others going ahead in line especially now. I just want out of NVC before all the illegals start getting processed which is supposed to happen early 2015.My mother is dying and that isn't good enough reason for my own expedite...I was denied ! I have situations in my own life that should be more than enough reason to allow expedite but nooooooooooo. Sorry I am feeling a bit angry and discouraged today.

Hi sorry you feel that way but my case was not expedited i went through the whole process feeling the way you do now very frustrated waiting for my papers to get processed but the only reason i got a fast CC was for something NVC lost then found on through checking their own work

I dont just feel that way...it is fact...and rightly so in most cases.I understand the reasoning but there doesnt seem to be an end date to expedites for this reason .
