If the website is now saying that "card was ordered to be produced" you should have it within 30 days...is it okay to apply for jobs now?

You can apply for jobs at any time. The problem comes in when you are offered a job and the EAD has still not been delivered. Now you have no documentation to satisfy the I-9 form your employer needs to complete when they hire you. If this is that dream position, you risk not being able to accept it. It is up to you, but keep in miond that the USCIS uses the USPS Priority mail to send your EAD and GC to you. No signature required. So there is a small posibility that the EAD card wil be mailed and not received by you. As always it is recommended to not make any plans until the proper documentation is actually in your possion.

Good luck,

Dave

Agree anytime
