Ohhh. I'm glad you like us, haha! Yes, our history is very rich and they're both really beautiful countries. :) Have you been here? I always tell people they're amazing places to visit, just not so much to live in. My wife and I went to Patagonia a few weeks ago when she visited and it was awesome. I think we'll do the North next time we come to visit my family.

Hey - I guess from your timeline it's an AOS checklist? They're doing those a little faster now. They're on 10/14 as of today (several people from 10/14 got CC) so probably/hopefully next week! :)

Nope I love you guys your my brothers and sisters, I was born in Ecuador, Guayaquil my father is from Riobamba province of the Chimborazo also called Avenue of the Volcanoes so are history is intertwined and OOPS thought you were from the USA. :DWoooooo Hooooooo Viva Sur America, linda y unica!!!!!:Dt5063.gif

Shoot I don't blame him at all, have never had Korean food I don't like anything spicy and I can't understand how anyone can heheee. Yes I'm the only one in my family. In South America in general we don't add spicy thing like Chii/Aji to the food it's on the side for those who don't like it aren't forced to eat it or not eat. :D I would pass on the meatloaf nut would try the enchiladas and love tacos, Mole I've heard about but not to sure I could try it.

Uh-Oh my spicy spidey sense is tingling...

How could you not enjoy spicy food!! It's delicious!! I was a mountain momma (that's right from West Virginia) living on beans and fried chicken every day (okay so I'm being a little far fetched...but you get the point) - then took a 20 hour flight and the first thing (yes even before my husband) I did was fall in looooove with Indian food. Omg...we are just making our breakfast today - dosa with sambar and coconut chutney - YUUUUUUMMMM!! It's the only thing that gets me outta bed on a dreary Sunday morning like today.

40 days since my husband's interview. Still in AP. I've emailed the embassy twice asking for an update since they originally told us they would be in contact within 1 to 4 weeks, but they have not responded to either email. This is seriously killing me.

You kept that quiet! I understand too well the frustration AP could cause, but we are here for you, dear.

If your husband was asked to submit info post interview, I highly recommend you/he send them again... via email and in person if possible. They're not beyond misplacing documents or just playing dumb. Make sure to include case number, your husband's date of birth and a copy of the 221(g) or whatever document they handed to him if it contained specific requests.

I hope you, Soloenta and EOC will receive good news in time for a memorable Christmass... not that I'm forgetting Samreen or the rest of our VJ friends.

Anyone had much luck/experience in calling NVC and having their IV fee unlocked manually? They put our case in "supervisor review" this week but I'm sure that's just something they say to most people to pacify them. Planning on calling tomorrow to try and prod it along.

Now chronicling my experience in handy blog format at

Yes keep calling and ask to speak to the Supervisor your case is with, it usually takes a week to get to them, so they say. But they will review it, from the start tell the rep your returning hahaaa the supervisors call or all of a sudden they aren't at their desk and I never had luck on a Monday they are usually at a meeting so they say. Notice the paranoia smileys-happy-715315.gif

Great! Thanks Soloenta. I just want to give them some money is all! And once that's done, I can complete my DS-260 and then sit in front of a clock for two months or so...

Hey - I guess from your timeline it's an AOS checklist? They're doing those a little faster now. They're on 10/14 as of today (several people from 10/14 got CC) so probably/hopefully next week! :)

Yes an AOS checklist for dumb little errors :sleepy: but wow I didnt know they were that far out hopefully I hear something by this coming week!! :dancing: Thank you so much for taking the time to inform me!! (L)

Hubby had his medical on 12/4/14! He said that he had to travel to a different center for each test. He has his results and will take it the medical examiner in the morning. He said that everything went well.

Please keep us in prayer... :innocent:

40 days since my husband's interview. Still in AP. I've emailed the embassy twice asking for an update since they originally told us they would be in contact within 1 to 4 weeks, but they have not responded to either email. This is seriously killing me.

They are really bad about responding to emails. I always email twice a week and in the subject line I type SECOND REQUEST along with my hubby's case number. That usually gets their attention...

Hi everyone hope everyone is well. I don't know if am at the right place, but I need help. My case is now with nvc since May, in October they requested for my police certificate again because for some reason we didn't have it. Will I send it to them again, and I call them and they said they received it on the 30th of October. Please does anyone know if am going to be in line again and wait again for 60 days. My pd is 30th December and is ir1. Please any advice will be nice.

This is the greatest lesson a child can learn. It is the greatest lesson anyone can learn. It has been the greatest lesson I have learned: if you persevere, stick w/it, work @ it, you have a real opportunity to achieve something. Sure, there will be storms along the way. And you might not reach your goal right away. But if you do your best and keep a true compass, you'll get there. Edward M. Kennedy,
