We are still waiting for NOA2 and fast approaching 10 months. Tomorrow will be 300 days.

Contacted Senators and Congress people who put in inquiries and said they were going to contact their liaison people at TSC.

This is not fun.

Anybody else still left?

Thank you for your sympathy.

We dont really know what they are or arent doing. They put in inquiries and said they give them 30 days to answer. After 2 weeks we were like - didnt get an answer yet, do something else, so they said they were going to contact their liaison person - but that was on Friday, and today is only Monday, so who knows. We have an infopass this week as well. Tier 2 told us a week ago that we are in background checks and I am going "what the heck?" We should not be in background checks almost 10 months into this *argh*

Were they able to help wth the visitor visas? I hope his family can come to your US wedding! Crossing fingers :-)

Ugh! Background checks better mean they're giving you that noa2 this week!!! Lol hopefully the info pass gets you guys where you should've been already!! Like I said before, they should be expediting everything for you guys!

Their second interviews are next week but we have very little hope :( it's a totally unfair process. They claim to 'carefully consider' visa petitions but all they really do is judge you based on your marital status (or lack thereof). It's really screwed up especially seeing as his mom and brother both had a ton of ties including work, owning a house, etc! We're hoping for a different result since they're bringing a few more ties, including help from the congressman & senator, but we aren't very confident that it'll happen. :(

Once something is happening I will share.

Before. If you wait until after you can't get a social until you get your EAD card I think. They use your i94 records so if you wait until after then it causes a conflict

16th June 2015 -- Bridgetown received

17th June 2015 - PCKT3 received
30th June 2015 - PCKT4 received

That is so great that you were approved Yesii, you can apply for the social security number before you get married. How long did it take to receive his passport.

I could not stay with my finance had only a week to be there.
