Sameeen, list looks good. I would suggest you to take copy of entire AOS packet that was sent to NVC since you had a checklist for your AOS. Just a suggestion.

Yes, keep log of few calls just in case they ask because your husband wasn't able to visit you in Pakistan so they might ask you, how did you guys talk to eachother?

Are you doing an interview in English or Urdu? Did the date change for your case status update on ceac website where it says "Ready@?

Yes I will take AOS form just In case. Just don't have the transcript so they have that already. I will give it in English iA. Cuz I tend to talk more than needed In Urdu :P yes it's ready since 20th nov :)

Case status has not changed to "Ready" on ceac.

Is that common?

Interview is on the 16th of December.

It should say "Ready". Try this link:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

Your case will either say "At NVC", "In Transit", "Ready". It should be at Islamabad embassy for your husband's interview thats when it will say "Ready" once it reaches Islamabad embassy.

Let me know if you see "Ready". Good luck!

Good luck Samreen and have a safe journey to Capital City. Just stay relax and confident, everything will be fine Insha Allah :)

For the green card fee, you won't have to pay that in embassy on the day of interview. You will pay that fee when you pick up your passport and sealed packet from the courier service of your city. For example, my wife will be picking up her passport and sealed packet from American Express Islamabad Insha Allah.

You will have to pay that fee online as well. See the link: http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis

All the best, our best wishes are with you :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

They lost our joint sponsor's documents. I m soooo pissed off I can't explain it. They kept my passport and said we will issue u the visa in a week or two max after we get the AOS form and transcript from the sponsor. Nvc lost it and we have to pay the price. It's just ridiculous really. They hardly asked me anything at the interview though. Just two qs that was it arranged marriage or love. And have u traveled outside Pakistan before. The last was v polite though. So I don't have anything bad to say about Islamabad embassy. But Nvc sucks big time!

OMG that is so not fair. I hope things work out for you soon. That's good that only 2 questions were asked from you. So, basically you are approved and once you submit the sponsor documents you will receive your passport with a visa stamp on it. I just cant believe how can NVC lose important documents.

Yes they are morons. Irresponsible idiots. But I have a feeling the CO knew they it was their fault. Cuz she literally didn't ask me anything or look at any document. And everything happens for the best. So I m ok. I hope it gets issued till next week inshAllah.

That's great to hear, your medical is out of way.

Yes, I saw an update on my wife's case as well. Actually its not being updated after your medical. But Consular Officers look at your case before the interview so they are prepared to ask questions.
