Just curious, what do you think you would have done if your wife's visa had been denied? And was continually denied if you reapplied. Would have considered trying to bring her here illegally? Would you have moved there? Just given up on being together? I know it's impossible to really know what you would do; but what do you think?

I know if it was me, doing something illegal is just not in my nature. I probably would have moved there - I know my wife would have preferred that instead of her moving here.

My issue on this is not so much what he did but when he did it. Out of all the issues with immigration, I think they should have fixed the obstacles in the way of those doing this legally first, instead of working on this part

I have no idea what I would have done if my wife's visa would have been denied. Most likely would have been a move back to Europe for me to live there with her. But I really don't know.

That's my main beef with the whole thing. Reward the people that broke the law first, while ignoring those that follow it.

You disagree with illegals being given the privilege to stay for a fee rather than be deported according to law, and you end up the heartless villain when you did everything the LEGAL way. A sad story apparently justifies breaking the law now.
