While they can ask you about any document you've submitted, it's highly doubtful that they would read every single word in your chat logs, unless your case has a lot of red flags and they suspect potential fraud or misrepresentation. Your multiple visits to each other and photographic evidence are adequate enough to demonstrate that you have met within the last two years.

I know that until your petition and visa are approved, it's easy to fret about your submission, but until you hear from them, it is out of your hands and you need to focus on something else.

wow $50,000 in wedding budget :) it must be so beautiful..

We only sent 20 pages of chat logs (taken out of 1000 pages); just covered different dates in between the 3 year relationship.

I also did not bother to read the conversation. Lol. Reading this made me think to read the chat logs we sent them.

:D Anyway, I believe you have nothing to worry. Goodluck :)

Thanks!

I guess it's hard to keep counting on them not reading it but if they do I wonder how bad it would sound! :(

I will wait and see and pray that if they read they realize we were just fooling around!

At the same time the CO do not read the docs before the interview? From what I read looks like they only look into your case when you show up for the interview and just care about the proofs of ongoing relationship we take!

They review your case file before the interview. But my impression is that they don't have a lot of time to do that because the entire process is a bit of a production line. If you submit a file that runs into hundreds of pages, there's no way that they'd be able to read every single word. I suspect that they will be looking out for certain signals and the presence or absence of those signals will determine their line of questioning and whether or not they lean towards recommending your case for approval/denial - even before they've interviewed you.

I understand the concern, but at this stage, I think it's too early to be worrying about a couple of lines in a chat log.

It would take a day...

All I did was send the records of the chats, not the actual content (I'm paranoid, and if someone does a FOIA on you, they can pull off of that information...scary). It shows every single day we chatted (which is every day) and how many lines of chat are involved in that day.

If that's not enough for them, they can tell me, but I doubt they'd need to ask for me.

Right, this post made me realize how many stupid things we chat about... I always tell him I'm only marrying him because I want a green card, that it's every Canadian girls dream to move to the U.S  Maybe I should be careful what I send just in case!

Well, I will try not to go crazy about it ! If they pull off this info it could be bad, HOWEVER we say in the same conversation that is better NOT to do something like that and he even says the trouble he could get in for that and states HE WILL NOT DO IT and just chill at the Military Lobby. It was a stupid comment but as I said before we made it clear nothing wrong was going to be done.

Yeah, be careful because later on you can go crazy thinking about it and I was pretty ok before but I am hitting 5 months and I am just going crazy (Can not even focus on work and keep checking USCIS site at all the time and even VJ)! I keep getting my Petition and overlooking everything and seeing some of the mistakes we made: The chat stupid thing, the Intent Letters we didn't state GETTING MARRIED WITHIN 90 days (We said getting married on the K1 Visa once I arrive in the US) and the Bio Form I have written CHISTOPHER instead of CHRISTOPHER (For that I guess they would see it was just a typing error).

Girlfriend you need to chill! Have a glass of wine or a bottle lol.

You will get to your wedding day with grey hair and a stomach ulcer if you keep going. You're almost there but make sure you get there in one piece emotionally and mentally. From one future bridezila having to immigrate to another, it`s so easy to get wrapped in all this craziness and imagine worst case scenario, but as my fiancé constantly reminds me 'We can't change the future so why worry about things we can't control and that probably won't happen' (his words are more inspiring... I can give you his number if you want)

Just remember the road you have already traveled and that the finish line is right around the corner. If that fails drink wine or vodka, whatever calms you down. You can do it!
