NOT FAIR! California vs. Texas Service Center

I know this is not the first time that this topic has been posted and at the risk of being redundant and sounding like a whining baby I must say it is completely unfair that the California service center processes aplications so much quicker....now i understand that the Texas center receives a lot more applications because it handles the heavier populated states but that just doesn't make sense! It is so sad and disheartening to see people apply after you and get responses before, I mean seriously somethings got to change with that process! In any case nothing we can do to fix it but continue to wait ?...just venting a little. What do you all think about this?

I've been recommending Texas filers have their fiance get Filipino citizenship first, then bringing them to the states. It'll be much faster that way.

Guys chill out. I was at Texas for four month then by God's grace was transferred to California. My application technically was processed in 5 months the national norm but because I had a couple of items missing I had to send them in, they viewed and approved . Have patience. Many people have wasted, some from my group are STILL waiting at California. It has only been two months for many of you . I knew some people waited 12 months just for the NOA2. Keep yourselves busy and work on strengthening your relationships. The wait will test your patience and pledge as a couple . Learn patien and your relationship will be unbreakable

OP, it's only been two months since your NOA1. Realistically, if I were you, I'd be preparing for a wait of a further three months at the very least.

I am fully aware that it's only been 2 month's thank you for pointing it out ...that does take away from the fact that the system in my opinion (which i am entitled to) needs to be fixed. I have met people threw VJ that applied later than me threw California and already got their NOA2...in any case wait I will ad many other people. My application id in God's hands ☺

I'm at CSC and have a very similar timeline to yours WITH a Filipino fiancé and I'm still waiting for my NOA2. And if the hold up is regarding background checks I can guarantee that I do not have a criminal record....so I can sympathize with you.

i know time apart is not key or optimal but that is the reality of things and as we bear it, our relationship will be even stronger than it already is. At least that has been my case. I do know others that the time apart has been and put a strain on their relationship. Everyone's circumstance(s) of course can be different. Best wishes to all. We are nearing the end but, not there and, one continues to press forward
