The editing is TERRIBLE!!! Meaning.. every single one has some type of crazy drama...

My fiance and I have very strong personalities (we're BOTH "true" Capricorns) so they would make us out to be the crazy Hollywood liberal (me) and the Conservative Muslim (him) that argue over politics and religion all the time.... The James Carville and Mary Matalin of K-1 visas. LOLOL... ((BTW - Carville & Matalin have been married for over 20 years)).. LOLOL

Hahaha, i'm Capricorn too and Dustin is a Virgo, so i really think we won't be able to make it either. I just told him about the message and he jumped with "please don't give any personal information and it's up to you if you want to apply", but he never saw or heard about the show, so he said that cause he has no idea about it.

Everyone kept telling me about the show because they knew we were applying. I hadn't watched it or heard of it. I didn't watch the first season. I told my fiance about the show and if he might be interested in doing something like that. At first he was... then my fiance watched the first season and started watching the second season and he and my sister were talking about it to me... so finally I buckled down and started watching it.

I told him that they will NOT portray our love.. they will exploit our "imperfections". And that is what they will focus on.

To the Canadian,

My fiancée is in Canada, so I was wondering is there a long wait (how long) for the medical appointment? Also how long does it take to get a police report as proof that you live in Canada?

11/25/2014 I-129f mailed to Dallas Lockbox

12/04/2014 Receipt NOA 1 via email

12/10/2014 Receipt hard copy NOA 1

12/24/2014 Receipt NOA 2 via checking website

12/26/2014 Receipt hard copy NOA 2

01/20/2014 On hold for ONLY 30 min, got our case# MTL 1234....

02/10/2014 Called NVC (4 times in 3weeks) no update. Checked website in afternoon, IN TRANSIT?!!

02/11/2014 READY. After 21 days of no activity our status magically jumped 2 levels in less than 24hr.

Emailed MONTREAL-IV-DV@STATE.GOV requested further communication via email.

02/17/2014 Got an email response from MTL "Your file is being reviewed. We soon provide you instructions."

03/04/2014 Submitted multiple inquiries with no response! Tired of waiting around, so emailed in Packet 3 with copy of student visa.

03/09/2014 CEAC Status Date changed AGAIN to today. Hope this mean we'll be getting Packet 4 soon.

03/11/2014 GOT PACKET 4! CEAC Status Date changed.

04/17/2014 Interview appointment.

Quick update... or non update. LOL

I called the NVC last night around 7:30 PST and was on hold for about 1 hour just to be told they haven't received our packet yet and it could take up to 35 days. I've heard about the long wait times to speak to someone and how they have terrible customer service.

The gentleman I got was actually very nice and told me that once the packet gets to them it tends to move VERY QUICKLY (he repeated that a few times) but said it usually takes some time to get from USCIS to NVC.

I'm going to call once or twice a week still. LOL. I just keep hearing that people aren't always notified from NVC.

There were 2couples on a group here in Romania that had the same problem, the USCIS told them they sent the packet, but NVC didn't receive it and then they called next week and the NVC said how come you call when the USCIS didn't sent the packet and they were amazed that USCIS told them they did sent it. And they all had to wait almost 4weeks.

It's so strange that it takes that long. I totally get they sent petitions in "bulk", but can't they do that ONCE a week?! lol

Be careful about the police certificates in Morocco. I emailed the consulate and they stated the certificate is only valid if it's issued within 6 months of the interview date. while I'm hoping the interview Happens before 6 months, just be mindful that he may need to get a newer version.

moncherie! I just realized I gave you BAD information. I looked at the consulate email once more... it's THREE months before, not six. Email is below in bold:

Thank you for your inquiry. Federal regulations require that an applicant for a fiancé visa provide a recent police certificate for every country in which he or she has lived or worked for six months or more after the age of 16. In many cases, the local embassy or consulate is able to provide this certificate. (Recent means the certificate was issued within 3 months of the interview date.)

Moroccan citizens 16 years or older must provide a police certificate, and in addition a court certificate.

All documents must be in English, or accompanied by a translation into English by a certified translator.

Its maybe kind of silly thing. But my fiance register us at Tlc and we just had the skype casting last week. Next process will be next month. It's kind of embarrassing for me but my fiance so excited about it.

No that's awesome, because I love watching that show, so I need more couples to want to do it so they can have more seasons! What was the casting like?

Hey LBCTT,

I think you may be better off asking in the Canada regional forum. I haven't made it to this point yet!
