It might be, but maybe double check? Silly me didn't include the G-1145 form so I'll never know what my electronic notification would've been

Speaking of notice date, I can't believe it's already been a month since my NOA-1 was issued! It flew by, so I'm hoping the remaining months will too :)

I can't at the moment as we are both in the UK but we are flying back to spend Christmas with his family on Monday so as soon as I have the hard copies in my hands I can verify! :) Luckily his mom has been holding onto them for us

Hey @oana.budescu, it's funny but me and my fiancé also met on omegle. :) I was just bored and the site was just given to me by a friend and he said he was just bored too.. Around 2 hours of talking, we exchanged msn and he just kept on messaging me everyday. :)

And I do agree with Romet that our "monthly" board is more active than all the other "monthly"s. :D

Also, please pray for the Philippines. Seems like another typhoon's about to hit us. :(

UGGG.. I'm sorry to hear that musique.... Prayers and good vibes being sent your way.

I used our electronic notification date which I assume is the same as the issued date. I also agree this makes more sense- mail services aren't always reliable

You'd think that the electronic notification date is the same as the issued date, but ours is actually 3 days apart! Issued the 21st, but we got notification on the 24th.

I don't know why I didn't think about that, using the date it was issued rather than when I received the hard copy. I would think it would make more sense to use the issue date, and that's what I'll change mine to.

Just looked on the timeline page, and there's a link to which date you should use - http://www.visajourney.com/images/noa-date.jpg

And there we have it. :) :) :) Thanks cristindc!!

cristindc,

Can you set up electronic notifications online? When I first signed up for the "check status" I had to say "yes" to certain "alerts". Is that something that could help? Can you just set up those alerts? I sent in the G-1145, but was just wondering for you.

Hi Romet,

Yep, I checked those once I got our NOA1 and made a USCIS account. I did not receive a notification when his ARN changed (I don't know why), but at least the hotline told me that. The hotline and the site are down for me today. Oh well!

Hellooo,

So the agent I went through said he needed our photos together and of our engagement the ones with family with us in them. So i sent my photos from paris and morocco, my plane tickets for the whole trip, my train tickets from morocco, but i did not sent my chat logs or anything. I think you can also sent your phone call records as well. BUT only if they ask for chat logs or phone calls... other then that I dont think you should just sent that info unless they request more info... Dont worry i know exactly how you feel. :)

So, I have a question... I can't really seem to find an answer on VJ. I've been reading some other topics regarding the evidence others sent with their package to prove they were in a bonafide relationship, and people from high fraud countries (like Morocco) front loaded their package with Skype/FB/etc. logs as well as their pictures, boarding passes, etc.

I'm starting to spin myself up since I feel like maybe I didn't provide enough information for the officers at the Embassy. I know that USCIS cares that there's proof we've met, but I'm thinking maybe I should've put in our Skype/FB/etc. logs just for the people at the Embassy (I included trip receipts, 10-15 pictures, and boarding passes). My plan was to compile a lot of our conversations and send to my SO for his interview and to show then, but I'm kind of worried now.

So my question is - can I send more evidence to the TSC and reference my case number even though I haven't gotten an RFE (and don't expect one). Not sure if it would look super weird if I just sent a bunch of call logs randomly, or if they would even accept the files.

thanks!!

Did you sent chat and phone call logs?

I sent chat logs, FB posts, cards, and phone logs. Because we used to mostly use viber ... and they do NOT give out their telephone logs, we had to print screen some... We use Kakao now because it logs everything.

I also sent emails and letters from family, friends, and co-workers. Anyone that has to suffer through my constant "gushing" for over a year I asked to write a letter. LOL.

Again.... because we have red flags in a high fraud country, we really wanted to make sure we front loaded and our timeline was consistent and detailed. Even though I've been to Egypt 3 times in the past year, (even one time taking my children), we were told Egypt is STILL very very very skeptical and will scrutinize EVERYTHING.

I have to forward my fiance some original documents for his packet 3 and we'll make sure he has updated "evidence" for everything too.

I swear.. I NEVER THOUGHT in my life that I would have to "prove" my love for someone through documentation (especially PERSONAL ones). LOL. It's a bit harder than I ever imagined! lololol

Yeah, I guess I didn't think about front loading with chats or phone logs because we really don't have red flags (maybe the quickness of the application, but we did it when we did because we knew it would take so long being at TSC). At least I showed tons of pictures including ones with his family and friends. Here's hoping for the best for all of us :)

Romet and Pheebs,

thanks guys! it's the Typhoon Ruby. It's sad that it will actually fall on the same Philippine area as last years typhoon - Typhoon Haiyan. Lots of people haven't recovered yet and are trying to build their new homes but I guess it will be put on a halt since they were already evacuating their homes.

Cristindc,

I am also the kind of person who always worries and makes sure everything is done right. I admit that the K1 had me worry lots because like you said, it's out of our control. Lol! But, in my opinion, I think you'll do just fine and you'll get your approval soon! :D We didn't send lots of photos and we didn't send even a single chat log. Romet, are there any settings in kakaotalk to receive the chat log or you still have to take print screens with the log? We are using whatsapp and facebook chat and until now i always had to scroll up so much to take print screens.

Musique, it cool you've met on omegle too. And prayers and positive thoughts sent from here to you.
