I don't know anything about flying 747s, but I know if the wings fall off it's a problem. Just because you're not a virologist, doesn't mean you shouldn't be concerned.

Yes, but if the wing falls off, I bet the pilot is concerned. The case you're talking about, the people that know the most are not as concerned as the alarmists.

It's not "one item"; "Community Transformation" constitutes 2/3 of their entire budget! That's the point of the article.

I don't see a problem with it. The more healthy a community, the more disease resistant that community will be. Especially when talking about diseases that cause deaths when they really shouldn't.

You mean the govt. doctors that work for the CDC? I'd argue if they want to keep their job, they'd better say what the Kenyan wants them to say. Not only that it's in their best interest to minimize the risk. Remember they said there was next to zero risk of someone getting infected. Now there's been two. Not only that, one of the infected is flying around on commercial flights. I'd assume there's a reason those people are dressed from head to toe in spacesuits when they're near infected people. I doubt the people flying coach on Frontier Airlines were wearing one of those suits.

I'm not exactly hiding under my bed. In fact I'm in seat 36c on a flight to Dallas. My point is that the govt.should take this more serious than they have and quit sugarcoat8ng it.

And you're just one voter. Polls show a preponderance of Americans are disillusioned with gargantuan, wildly-spending government which oversteps its mandate. Imagine that.

Show me the same numbers from a poll where only virologists are polled. Then I'll be impressed.

Sorry, I mean about how we should handle Ebola.

Voters must not be aware that measured on the population, there have not been fewer federal government staff per capita in over a decade. But facts usually don't sway Americans. Slogans and silly soundbites do.
