We filed the I-130 from abroad. We are living in Mexico so we filed it in Monterrey consulate on Oct 9, 2014, but the lady told us the proof that he was living in Mexico that we brought were not enough so next day (Oct 10, 2014) my husband sent an email with three bank statements under my name. He received an email saying they received it. On Oct 14, 2014, the lady replied saying thanks for the documents and a minute later my husband received another email with the Approval Notice saying:

USCIS forwarded the approved petition to the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in

Ciudad Juarez MEXICO. This completes all action by USCIS on the petition. The Consular

Section, which is part of the Department of State, will contact the beneficiary and provide

instructions about applying for a visa. For information about visa processing, visit the Department

of State website at www.travel.state.gov or contact the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy or

Consulate.

and we have not received anything until today (Nov 7, 2014).

We are stressed because he hasn't found a job with benefits and good money in Mexico and a lady who worked in Ciudad Juarez consulate said it is better he goes back to USA before the interview.

So uscis revamped their site, but looks kind of confusing.. Anyone had the same weird status as mine? We got Noa1 hard copy on the 26th of October, but my case reflected online on 5th of November.. And now on their site it says they received it on the 5th? Does this mean I'm now a November filer?? Hope not.

On November 5, 2014, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 5, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I'm starting to become very upset and worried! I received my text and email notifications on October 16 that our petition was accepted and routed to Nebraska. The receipt date is October 14. I received the letter in the mail, I believe, on October 21. I STILL cannot find our case number online. I did call the customer service number a few weeks ago regarding a correction to the beneficiary's name, and I asked about when I would be able to locate our case online. They said 30-45 days, but many of you seem to already be able to locate your case numbers online! I don't understand!

If you have the hardcopy of NOA1, it's alright some say that some people take a while to see their cases online, some don't even get to see until they get approved or an RFE.. and some people just don't see their status online at all.. it's their site being buggy/glitchy I hope. Those are from the threads I've read and people who answered mine. Fingers crossed you'd see yours soon! So sorry to hear that, I know it can be worriesome/stressful as we all just want to get done with this process and be with our loved ones!

Mine says the same when my priority date is the 20th of October my case was touched november the 5th so I hope I'm not a November filer better just be a glitch

yes, I do hope it's just a glitch! really hope so. I've been reading some who used to see their cases online can't see it right now

My I-130 was received on Oct 16th. I received a text and now a NOA 1. When I do a case status check it shows initial review. The NOA shows Oct 16th as the received date, but online it shows Oct. 6th.

My question is when do I find out what service center I'm going to? I'm from California, so I'm hoping for CSC. :)

I just checked my status and it shows a RFE on Oct 6th. They actually received my I-130 on Oct 16th, must be a typo. It's not good getting a RFE, but at least they are working on it I guess. How long does it take to get the reason or can I call?

Request for Additional Evidence Notice Was Mailed

On November 6, 2014, we suspended processing of your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number LIN1590xxxxxx, because we need more information from you. Your notice explains what we need from you to resume working on your case. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your request for additional evidence notice by December 6, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Must be an error with the coding of the new case status layout. Mine now states 'On October 6th we received...' It used to state 'On October 1st.' My case was last updated (date it was input into the system, I assume) on October 6th. Clearly pulling the wrong date. Personally, I'd rather the information be accurate than look nice.

Given the amount of comments on VJ relating to case status information after the change, there clearly are problems. Hopefully USCIS will get things cleared up ASAP once the work week begins.

I found a missing signature on my G325A. I was in too much of a rush. It's a easy fix if that's all.

My question is does this mean they are at adjudication phase or just a quick check as it was received Oct 16th.

Thanks!

On Nov 7, 2014, In USA my host mom (I was an au pair) received a letter from the Ciudad Juarez Consulate with my husband name. I guess they made a mistake sending the letter there instead of Saltillo, Mexico where both, my husband and I live.

The letter said I can schedule an appoitment in the Ciudad Juarez Consulate whenever I want.

My question is: Should my husband go back to USA and get a job there to prove he can support me?

We asked my ex-host parents to be my sponsors because we read the sponsor should live in USA. I make this question because a lady who worked in Ciudad Juarez consulate and now works with me said it would be useful for the Interview in the consulate if he is back before me.

Have you hear about a case like ours? Did he or she go back first?

Thanks in advance for any information.
