As I had file in October and I still follow this thread some I just wanted to add some advice for those that are getting their petition approve and sent to the NVC to save time, as you have already waited long enough for the USCIS. NO need to wait more at the NVC then you need to

1 it takes a couple of weeks for them to receive case do not wait for an e-mail call them after a while to see if they have case

2 they will tell you it takes a while to get case number again do not wait call

3 once you fill out the DS-261 form, they will tell you that it takes a while for them to review it . after a while call and have them do it over the phone if one agent will not do it call until one will

4 I-864 form fill out the ez version if you can it is much shorter and easier

5 do not wait until all fees and forms are fill out to send in the AOS and Iv documents, once the AOS fee is paid you can print two AOs document cover sheet use one with each packet alone with the NVC welcome letter document checklist when NVC receives it that will be your scan date

while you are waiting to pay your IV fee and fill out the DS-260 form your documents will already be there and the so call 60 days of reviewing documents would of had already started

good luck to every one still waiting for approval. I hope this will help to save time at NVC as you have already waited long enough

I know I did not have to wait that long for my approval at USCIS but the NVC does not auto expedite cases from the Philippines like the USCIS does. I know people do not want to hear hang in there your time will come. So I thought since I was a part of this group I could give some advice I learn to help speed up the process once the petition was approve and sent to NVC.

Hi I'm new here and my wife's PD is 01OCT2014. I've been calling NVC (603-334-0700) but it's an automated voice message and emailed them weeks ago but no reply. We've been waiting for more than 30+ days. Is there any other number or way to contact them? TIA.

Calling NVC requires time and patience. People on VJ report redialing 50+ times to get through to be put on hold. If you persist, you will get through eventually. Best times to call are supposedly when they first open or the last hour before closing. NVC phone reps take calls from 7 am to midnight Eastern time.

NVC can take more than a month to respond to an email, but they do respond. You will likely get your welcome email and/or letter from them before you get the email response.

Hang in there and good luck.

Also... :time:
