Yeah, it's the damnedest thing really. It's one of those rose-thorns that sticks every dream right in the soft fleshy part of the 'dream.' It just screws the whole dream up when you actually wake up and have to look at facts. It was really freaky when people learned that light bulbs don't just work in the US. Dang, they work anywhere. And how did they figure that out? Well, I can't say for sure, but I suspect someone tried it out. But, that someone may not have been an American. If so, that would indeed invalidate it. You can't test something to see how or whether it would work unless you could officially use and validate the test subjects were American. Now, how in the hell would you do that, and would it make a hill of beans of difference? Nah. It wouldn't. Because in the end, their just people. I suppose some of them have attitude and chips on their shoulders and a sense of entitlement. We pretty much manufacture that here in murica as you say.

this may be a stretch but i think you're missing the point of the op.

the point is not: hey maybe it would be good idea to go back to that segregation stuff, but this time, instead of making double schools, bathrooms, water fountains, seating arrangements etc we give black people their own country (or business model, whatever makes your heart flutter) in america.
