I got my approval letter yesterday, approval date on there shows 8/18/15...yet when I called on that day it didnt show as approved in their system.. regardless, i'm thankful we just have the N400 to do and we are done with immigration

Hi Yassmin,

Did you have your Biometrics done? Did you receive your 1 year letter of extension? Have you called USCIS to see what the status is of your case? If not, call them and ask to be transferred to a Tier 2 officer. The person who answers the phone will not be able to give you any specifics about your case or any information other than if it's processing and that they have received it.

Once you update us with this information then we can offer more assistance or input if possible.

I already went to the uscis office last friday and the guy told me that they still processing ur case

Here some info about my case

I751 remove condition joint perition without a spouse sign

We had problems together before i applied for it and he refused to sign

Im officialy divorced but in egypt but here in cali, we just filed for divorce last march so all i sent to the uscis was my egyptian divorce decree, affidavits from friends and neighbors, pics for me and him together, some papers shows we have something joint but not as much as they need from me

i have my attorney but i guess he is not honest to me because i was planning to visit my family in egypt next week cuz its been too long since i saw them last

I asked him if the uscis denied my cas3 while im abroad, would i be able to come back and he said yes go dont worry and have fun with ur family

When i asked the uscis guy he said no you will have no status to enter the usa again so if i went i wont come back which means my lawyer is trying to get rid of me

I dont know what to do now actually

I canceled my ticket and still dont know when they will make a decision on my case

i was just checking letters i got from USCIS . i am confused

1 letter notice of action - receipt number EAC #####

2 letter AOS (bio Appointment) they are two different receipt numbers on bio Appointment EAC #### & EAC### (CR189)

3. RFE letter - this have receipt number EAC ### (CR189)

i am going to senator office ... i don't know which EAC number should i give them ..... shall i give the number which i usually check online for case status??

Yes, I would give them the number with which I check online and also provide them with your alien number from the first GC. This is how the IO looked me up when I went for my infopass appointment..

GC finally arrived today in the mail. I'm not at home but my awesome mailman (Dave) has left it at the post office for me to pick up after I instructed him to do this about a month ago. My husband called me and told me that the notification was in the mailbox.

My mailman is amazing. He is getting some kind of baked goods in the next couple of days.

YAY!! Soon I will be able to change my signature for N400. So happy that this will be over completely by next year. 1 more step in this journey. So funny now when I look back at my timeline and signature that it seems like a lifetime ago that I started this process.

I kept thinking that the people who were applying for citizenship when I was waiting for approval of our K1 petition were so lucky...lol now I get to be one of lucky ones who get to file for citizenship.

My husband has already informed me that we will be having a big party after my naturalization oath ceremony.

Just have 1 more round of paperwork to do and then the interview....hoping that will be a piece of cake and that the processing time isn't too long but then again if they send my application to Buffalo then it should be a fairly short turn around time as I can't see Buffalo being a big mecca for naturalization applications. Like I said before my husband's cousin is an ICE agent who has pretty high clearance with DHS and knows the director of the Buffalo Field office so hoping he can give them a little nudge to push my application along...fingers crossed.
